Time, so precious, so dear,

Yet we often waste it without fear.

We immerse ourselves into anything but the Word,

And forget of its impact on our lives, its essential worth.

Time, so precious, so dear,

Life itself has made it quite clear.

There is so many tasks to be done,

That we start to ponder, where has it gone?

Time, so precious, so dear,

We have to treasure each moment, because the end is so near.

To learn to believe, to hope and to love,

To live for the One who is watching from heavens above.

Time, so precious, so dear,

There's one thing to do, but on your knees to kneel.

And ask for wisdom, to live each day,

As the Lord wills it, so let us pray.
