I sighed in annoyance as I glanced up from my phone, my eyes flicking straight to the tv.
'WHO declares the coronavirus outbreak a global pandemic. The USA encouraged to lockdown with international flights grounded.'
Me: Yeah that's fine. Stay safe Scooter!
I locked my phone and dropped it down onto the couch, dropping back against the pillows with a sigh. I smiled down at Batman who jumped up onto the couch beside me and instantly curled himself into my side.
"Hi, Baby Boy" I leant down to press a kiss to the top of his head as I ran my fingers through his fur.
My eyes moved to my phone as it vibrated, the smile on my face only widening at the contact ID.
