it's supposed to be a duology based off of an element, so two covers that are similar.
wanna guess what element i'm doing?
it's water.
and uh tbh i rlly wanna talk about the whole thing so i'm gonna do it.
if you can notice, the titles are ripple and overturn.
ripple would be softer than overturn right, so i made the cover less saturated and it would seem more because in that one, the power is held back.
in overturn, as the subtitle says, it will unleash — thus why this cover is brighter.
so yEAAAA
also, if u can notice in the background, there are chinese characters faintly glowing — that's my original ideas for the titles, but i suck at translation so i went with another version.
the ripple one was 定山河 which means secure the mountains and rivers if translated directly, but it actually means like the mc using his sword to conquer the realm kinda.
then the overturn one would be 斩东海, meaning split open the east sea — again to show the mc's power and shit with his sword. but yea that didn't work out.
i like the one now though so it's fine i guess.
and honestly i purely chose water because of tanjiro, and the waves are inspired by the water thing that tanjiro and giyuu do. but other than that, i just winged it.
ps: pls ignore the 'book two' on the big ripple cover, i have changed it but i just haven't airdropped it to my phone so i forgot and uploaded this one instead oops
