3rd POV
Hyunjae nervously waits outside Yanan's apartment. Ever since he commented on Wooseok's post and got a reply from the other, he's gotten nervous. He's usually seen as confident, sarcastic person, but something about this boy makes him jittery. He was a wreck but excited to see the boy he will go on a date.
Yanan was rushing around his room looking for the perfect outfit. His roommate, Kino, looked at him in amusement. "Why are you so nervous hyung?" Yanan comes out finally revealing his chosen outfit. "Come on Kino, don't play stupid. You know I haven't been on a date in forever." Kino chuckles at the older's comment and just shakes his head. "Just hurry up. He's been outside for like five mintues." Yanan's eyes go wide as he rushes to get a his things. "Why didn't you tell me! Okok I'm going to go, see you later Hyunggu."
Yanan stepped outside to see a cute boy pacing around. He giggles at the sight and calls him out. "Hey Hyunjae! You didn't wait long did you?" Hyunjae turns around at the sudden voice and stumbles from where he was. "U-uh no I didn't. Should we go already?" Yanan nods at him and they start walking side by side. Both boys were very nervous but tried not to show it. They saw a cute little puppy pass by and Yanan couldn't help but run to it and start petting it. Hyunjae watches in amusement seeing an adorable interaction.
"Hyunjae! Come play with the puppy with mee~" He flushes red at the older's cuteness but walks over none the less. "Aww he's really cute!" They stay playing with the puppy for a bit more before heading to the cafe, where they were originally heading too. They were walking in silence, but a comforting silence. Not soon after, Hyunjae breaks the silence and begins talking to the other. "So... how have you been doing?" Yanan glances at him before answering his question. "I'm doing pretty good and you?" "Same. I've actually recently been getting into Why Don't We more recently."

Yanan stops walking and looks at Hyunjae with wide eyes. "Wait, you're a limelight?" Hyunjae looks at him, confusion in his eyes. "Well i wouldnt say im one yet, but i do really like their music. Why are you a limelight?" He sees Yanan go red and start walking again. Hyunjae catches up to him and grabs his hand. "Did I say something wrong? If I did, I'm really sorry." Yanan looks at him and starts to stutter. "W-what no! You did nothing wrong. It's just-" He looks down and stares at his feet for a while, until Hyunjae lifts his chin and stares at him. "It's ok, you can tell me. I won't make fun of you or anything. I promise." "I-i am a limelight. It's just that people always tell me stuff about it and i didnt want you to laugh at me also." Hyunjae looks at him with sincerity in his eyes before he giggles softly. "Yanan that's not bad you know. You shouldn't be embarrassed about it at all. It's what makes you, you!" He cups Yanan's face and looks at him. "Don't ever let someone bring you down. You got it?" Yanan turns a light pink but nods immediately.
Hyunjae holds on Yanan's hand and starts heading back to the cafe they were heading too originally. Not long after they get there and Hyunjae orders their drinks. While he orders for them, Yanan walks over to a small table near the back and process what happened. He was starting to feel things. The last time he felt this way was with Changgu. And that scared him too death. Yet some how, he felt at ease with Hyunjae. He was so in thought he didn't realize that Hyunjae just got here with their drinks. "What are you thinking about so much?" He looks at him flustered at the sudden comment. "N-nothing!" He sees the younger chuckle before taking a seat in front of him.
"You know, your cute when you get flustered." Hyunjae looks at the now red boy from his blunt comment. He mentally smiles to himself knowing he's the one caused the other to get this way. "Um t-thanks? You know, you are adorable when you get red too." Yanan's comment makes the other look anywhere but at him. "When did I ever get red?" Yanan smirks to himself knowing the other obviously didn't realize. "When I asked you to play with the puppy and I!" He laughs when he sees Hyunjae turn a slight pink. "You saw that?" Yanan just hums in return since he was finally taking a sip from his drink.
"Wait! Don't move, you look cute." Hyunjae quickly takes out his phone and snaps a picture of the other. He takes a mental note to make his lock screen later on. "Hey! Why did you take a picture of me. I bet I looked horrible!" "What of course not!" Yanan pouts knowing Hyunjae now has a picture of him. Seeing his action makes Hyunjae questions who's really older from the two. "Fine then let me take a picture of you also." Hyunjae rolls his eyes but poses for a picture either way. "Awe you look so cute~" Hyunjae rolls his eyes to avoid getting red and finishes his drink. They continue talking and sharing interests with each other for 4 hours until they finally decide to head back.
"I can walk you home this time if you'd like." Yanan looks at the other waiting for a reply. "It's ok, I would rather make sure you got home safely!" He smiles at Yanan and they continue walking towards Yanan's apartment. They talk on the way, neither realizing they still had their hands interlocked from when they left the cafe. They finally get to the apartment, having to part ways. "I had really great time Hyunjae. Thanks for dropping me off also." "Of course. I wouldn't want you to get hurt or anything." He looks down, finally realizing they were holding hands. A-ah sorry! I didn't realize." He looks away turning red. Yanan lets out a soft laugh and takes this as chance to kiss the other on the cheek. "Goodnight Lee Hyunjae." He looks at Yanan dumbfounded. "Ah um goodnight Yanan." He watches him go inside before heading to his own apartment. Process this successful day over and over.
