a breakdown of cordy's powers

so cordelia/cordy and her abilities are inspired by karolina dean (aka lucy in the sky with diamonds/lsd) from marvel's runaways. here are some reference gifs:

since cordy's mom is iris, goddess of rainbows, cordy has control over the light spectrum, allowing her to do a number of things. cordy glows like karolina and can create similar light beams. however, unlike karolina, cordy can't fly. she can float, but not fly. additionally, cordy can create illusions/tricks of lights with her powers, which karolina can't do, so they don't exactly have the same powers.

while cordy is powerful, she's still not as powerful as a child of the big three. like the other powered demigods in the riordan-verse, using her powers is extremely draining for cordy. cordy is not overpowered!!! she has her limitations!!! however, she is still a bad bitch who can fight both with and without her powers.

cordy also has the typical physiology of a demigod, meaning she has superhuman strength, stamina, durability, speed and agility, healing, senses, and reflexes.

just wanted to include this so there was no confusion regarding cordy's powers. also just want to say really quick that even though this is a jason grace fanfic, there will be no piper bashing or piper erasure!!! piper is an important part of jason's life and the heroes of olympus series so she deserves nothing but love and support. in fact, piper is going to have her own love story soon...
