1 hour later
Henry's POV
"hey ralph, can you teach me the guitar?" I said , as i look at Ralph who was tuning his guitar . "Sure thing" he said , as he made his way over to where I was sitting . Ralph then handed me the guitar , placing it gently in my hands , his fingertips brushing against mine. I felt the heat rise to my cheeks right at that moment.
He kneeld up a bit higher behind me and placed my hands in the right position , his cheeks were as red as his jumper. He started by showing me the basics of the song , the main chords ( i dont know what there called 😂) and all that. I pretty much got the hang of it in around 6 minutes, I'm a fast learner. One of the stings had moved out of place though.
Soon , I felt Ralph lean over my shoulder to put the string back in place, his other hand over the top of my hand. He looked at me and realized how close he was to my face , he apologised , alot .
Ralph's pov
I was so close to his face it was unbelievable, I apologised so much , but Henry said it was fine , which was quite unusual coming from him. He was staring right into my eyes , and i was staring right into his. I could feel him getting closer , and i was automatically moving to , we got closer and closer , until there was a 1cm gap between us , then
"Henry are you staying for dinner?" My mum said , bursting through the door. "U-um, y-yeah" he said blushing like crazy. My mum nodded an ok and left the room. Silence filled the room. Until Henry spoke up. "I'm s-so sorry Ralph , I don't k-know what came over me " he said , stuttering. "Its fine henry" I said , looking up at him to see him smiling. The look on his face looked as if he was saying 'really-dude , because-we-almost-just-kissed-and-your-saying-its-completely-fine' . I couldn't help but laugh.
-time skip to after dinner-
Henry's pov
*ding* I heard from my back pocket. I checked my phone, to find a message from my mum saying:
○-Texting-○ M=mum
M=henry , i want you back by eight .
H=ugh, yes mum.
M=don't be horrid henry
H=see ya
M=bye
○-Finish texting-○
"Ralph , I have to be home by eight" i said to ralph , who was looking down in his lap. Weird. "Oh , ok" he said back with a hint of a stutter. "Ralph , are you ok?" I asked him , getting up to sit next to him on the bed. "Oh , y-yeah I'm fine" he replied , still looking down. I grabbed his chin with my index figer and thumb and made him look up at me , his eyes glistening in the light. I couldn't help but blush. "Your not ok , please tell me whats up ralph" i said , looking into his eyes pleadingly. "I'm n-nervous" he quietly muttered. I Asked him if it was because of the show tomorrow and he nodded.
"Dont worry , everything will be fine" I said to him , as i pulled him into a hug , luckily he didn't refuse the hug . He hugged me back.

3rd person pov
Henry told Ralph that he had to go home now , so Ralph decided he would walking him to his home . As the two were walking , there pinky fingers interlocked themselves , but the two said nothing. They just carried on walking and talking. As soon as they new it , their hands had both locked together, and their fingers intertwined. The two looked at each other , blushing , both leaning closer until....both their lips met each others and a sweet feeling filled the air . They both pulled away , with only a string of saliva connecting them . "Wow...." was all henry could say , and Ralph was speechless..... they both continued to Henry's house , hands still Locked together . They both waved goodbye to each other and went to their separate places.
