I was walking to my sister's house with one of my best friends, Karana, so that we could clean up the house and cook dinner to celebrate their big achievement with Star Labs and the particle accelerator. Well, it wasn't exactly a success yet since they haven't turned it on, but... I mean, other than it NOT turning on, what could happen?
If you're confused, let me explain a little. My name is Y/N Snow and I am Dr.Caitlyn Snow's little sister. I am currently working on my master's degree in photography. I also have a master's degree in forensic science. My best friend's names are Karana White and Hartley Rathaway. Hartley also worked at Star Labs but Cisco and Caitlyn and practically everyone but Dr. Wells hated him. I, for one, thought he was nice and sort of cute. Hartley and I have....A history, but we're best friends and I love him...as a friend. I also have a boyfriend. His name is Tony Woodward. He's not really that nice but we liked each other. Today is the day that Star Labs was going to turn on the particle accelerator and I wanted to cook for my sister and Ronnie for a little celebration. After all, I'm pretty darn good at cooking. Anyway--
"Y/N!!"
"Huh??" I exclaimed startled at the vigorous shaking of my body and some pretty loud yelling.
"JEEZUS Y/N, you zoned out ya blockhead," Karana said.
"Yeah sorry Kara, I was just thinking about Cait," I responded.
"Yeah, yeah whatever, let's just hurry to your sister's house so we can get dinner ready before she and Ronnie come home," Karana said cheerfully, starting to cross the street without me.
"Yah Kara! Wait--" I was interrupted by a loud BANG and a surge of light coming from in front of us. We both stopped in our tracks. Suddenly, I heard a loud honking.
"KARA LOOK OUT!" I screamed, before being thrown against the wall behind me. My whole body jerked with the impact and I felt my head hit something hard. Pain washed through my whole body and pulsed in my head. I felt my body hit the ground and I turned my head towards the street and I saw something that scarred me. I saw Kara get run over by a car before everything went black.
