Dinner

Shinobu's POV
I woke up the next morning and saw I had a text from Giyu.

Giyu: Hey I ran into some car problems when I went running errands. Can you bring Nezuko?

Shinobu: Sure, also last night Kanae was going on and on about doing a Sunday dinner tonight with us, Nezuko, Tanjiro, and Kanao along with her. She was really persistent and hard to say no to...so I'm guessing you know what I said.

Giyu: Alright...luckily I went to the store yesterday. Thank you.

Shinobu: Thanks, see you later.

Giyu: Yeah see you later.

"Aw no, I love you or good morning," Mitsuri says behind me. I jumped and she quickly apologized. Immediately I waved it off smiling at her.

We eat breakfast once everyone is up and the four leave and go to Giyu's house.

I arrived and knocked on the door, but didn't get a response. So Nezuko called him and he didn't answer his phone, so instead, Nezuko called Tanjiro and he answered. He opens the door after about a minute later covered in sweat.

"Woah are you okay?" I asked. "You seem to be working hard."

"Yeah! Giyu-san was training me in the basement and his phone was on silent, but mine wasn't." He explained.

That makes more sense. We nod in understanding and come inside. We followed him in the basement and saw Giyu was setting weights down. We didn't say anything or make any noise. Tanjiro seemed to try to sneak up on him, but in .2 seconds he was on the floor mat groaning.

"Jeez, you could try to go a little easy on me Giyu-san," Tanjiro whined.

"You asked me to help you train. Not my fault you're too slow." He deadpanned.

"You know Giyu-san not everyone has the same reflexes as us you know," I say to him. He turns around in our direction and greets us. He continued to watch and I do have to admit his training seems harsh. "What if Kanao and Tanjiro played tag?" I suggested.

"Tag?"

"Tag sounds like fun!" Tanjiro commented.

"Yup, it's like a full-body training. And helps with reflexes."

"Okay."

"Also they can play the cup game as well," I added.

"Cup game?"

"Yup helps with reflexes," I replied.

They all had agreed to the idea. And Giyu seemed satisfied while watching. I hand him a towel, and he thanks me. "Nice nails." He complements.

"Oh, thanks," I say looking at my now purple nails. Wow, he noticed.

"Giyu-san," Tanjiro said. He looks at him in acknowledgment. "Are you done training?"

"I don't know."

"Can I go to the gym with you this week?" He asked.

"Sure when your reflexes are faster and you can beat both Kanao and Shinobu."

"W-what! That's not fair!" He complained.

"How is it not fair?"

"That will take months!"

"So? Work hard."

"Not everyone is as strong as you Giyu-san!" He complains.

"Swordfight then."
