Chapter 3 - Meeting King Trollex

Tessa's POV:
As we were walking, it started to get darker. Not to mention, we're not sure where we're going. "There are so many tunnels.", I commented. "What we need is a light.", Shock Dogg said. "I have a flashlight.", Babo said. "So, why have we been walking in the dark for the last hour then?", Wage asked, clearly annoyed. "In conserving the batteries, until we really need it.", Babo explained. "Good thinking. Let me know when you come up upon a time when you really need it.", Wage shot back. "You got it.", Babo said as he turned on the flashlight. I don't know if Babo just went along with it or if he was just plain innocent. With Babo, it's really hard to tell, because he does both. Then, out of nowhere, we couldn't feel the ground beneath our feet anymore and started to fall. I closed my eyes tight as I said to myself, "Oh no, oh no." But then I opened my eyes and saw that we weren't falling. We were sliding. And honestly, it was a lot of fun. I laughed so much. I don't know where this is taking us, but it's certainly a lot of fun. When we hit the ground, we landed in a bunch of leaves. "And exhale.", Lucky told Wage before she started to cough out leaves. "Yes! Yes, yes, yes! Let's do it again!", I said to the others. I laughed so much, it took me a second to realize that they were looking behind me with wide eyes. My laughter died down as I looked at them in confusion. What were they staring at? I turned around to see, but as I did, I also went wide eyed. I don't believe it. It's the Big World! I knew it was real! "Tessa. You were right.", Slick Dogg whispered to me. I then stood up and looked around. I tapped onto my techno side and tried to listen for heartbeats that weren't familiar. And to my luck, there were heartbeats that I didn't recognize. But, they sounded like they were coming from....underwater? It was probably techno trolls! Original techno trolls! "Guys! Do you hear that?", I ask my friends. "If you're talking about heartbeats from underwater, then yeah.", Slick Dogg said. "It's probably techno trolls! Original techno trolls!", I said to that, my voice filling up with excitement. "We have to check it out!" "I agree. I would like to see these techno trolls too. But, we must be careful not to draw out that much attention.", Lucky said. "Understandable. Everyone? Let's do this.", I say, just before jumping into the air, and transforming into my techno form. As soon as I hit the water, I wait for the others. Which, on the other hand, let's me practice a bit of my swimming. It's been a while since I've been in my techno form. As soon as my friends are in, I listen for the heartbeats again. "This way.", I say to the others as soon as I found it again. As we were swimming, we saw all types of cool stuff. There was glow in the dark coral, glow in the dark fish, glow in the dark jellyfish, and....well you get the point. It was all so vibrant and colorful and beautiful. Then I heard the heartbeat get even louder. Knowing that a troll was nearby, I looked around the area. Until I saw it. An actual, real life techno troll. Soon, I then saw another troll, and another, and another. They all looked to be heading somewhere. I looked to the others for their opinion. They all nodded their heads and we started to follow them. As we did, we heard a noise coming from a distance. It sounded like....music? "Do you all hear that?", Slick Dogg asked. "Music?", I asked myself. I swam a little bit ahead of the others to get a better look. And once I did, I couldn't believe my eyes. It was a techno troll party.

King Trollex: One more time!

I heard someone sing. I looked over at the DJ booth and saw a dark blue techno troll with neon green hair that was tied in a topknot, neon violet, red, orange, yellow, and green bands around his arms, pale green eyes, and dark pink heart on his chest. He looked kind of....cool. I feel my heat going a million miles per minute. "What's up my techno trolls?!", he asked the crowd. The crowd went completely wild. "Now this is my kind of party.", Slick Dogg remarked. Letting my curiosity take over me, I swam a little more closer to the DJ booth, doing my best not to be seen. "Tessa! Get back here!", Wage whispers to me. But I just ignore it, and keep on going.

King Trollex: One more time. One more time, we're gonna celebrate! Oh yeah! All right! Don't stop the dancing!

He's pretty a good singer. But, who is this guy? I could tell that he was their ruler, but what's his name? "Tonight is about family, love and music!", he shouted out to the crowd. Wow, this guy is energetic. And I'm liking it already. "C'mon! Let me see you jump! One, two, three, four!", he says, turning the volume up, hyping the crowd even more. "Hey, get ready for the drop! You ready little buddy?", he asked a little fish - like button. "Let's do this King Trollex!", it responded, excitedly. King Trollex, huh? That's a pretty cool name for him. "Wait for it....", he says to the audience. He kept on repeating the term 'wait for it' multiple times before finally hitting the button, dropping the beat. As he did, everything came out of it. I guess it's important to say 'wait for it' so many times before the actual drop beat.
