"C'mon babe, I have to go to work..." even though Carol absolutely loves cuddling her girlfriend she had to go to work, she didn't want to but she had to.
In protest of her girlfriend's words, Valkyrie held her closer, nuzzling her nose into Carol's hair lovingly.
"Please stay." she whined, and the blonde giggled.
"Don't you have some royal asgardian meetings and stuff to go to?" Carol asked, trying to find a way to escape the warriors' arms. The brunette smiled and pulled her closer,
"As the king of new Asgard, I attend to said things when I want to." she said, and Carol let out a little 'hmp' in defeat.
"Yeah well, that's not now it works for me, I've gotta patrol the city for a bit and then I have a meeting with the Avengers." Carol sighed.
"Can't you just get someone else to a patrol for you? Plus, if you miss the meeting you can just ask tony to fill you in." Valkyrie said as Carol rolled over to look her in the eyes.
The blonde sighed. "Fine."
"Yay!" Valkyrie smiled and gave Carol a kiss before handing her the phone, she took it and called in sick... for the rest of the day they cuddled.
