So in this chapter there will be some internalized homophobia
If your unsure: Internalized homophobia refers to negative stereotypes, beliefs, stigma, and prejudice about homosexuality and LGBT people that a person with same-sex attraction turns inward on themselves, whether or not they identify as LGBT.
Internalized homophobia is often caused by ones repressed sexuality.
That being said let's start this chapter
I just wanted to let y'all know before it started since this can be a little hard to read and will talk about sensitive topics

Anthony's Pov
I changed into an oversized sweater and some sweats
And slowly walked down the stairs hoping the encounter I had with Josh was erased from his mind
What if he said something?
What if they know?
What if everyone knows?
I crept down the last step slowly walking towards the couch trying to avoid the inevitable
"Hey ant get in the circle we're playing truth or dare" Bryce semi shouted
Of course we'd be playing truth or dare
That's the most predictable thing we could've done
I sat down trying to avoid the tension between me and Josh
It was all kind of a blur
Kio was forced to jump in the pool for chickening out of his dare Bryce had to hold Tayler's hand until his next turn which I'm sure he didn't mind
Griffin took two shots from the paintball gun which was barely a dare more of a punishment and by now it was Josh's turn
"Truth or dare Josh?" Bryce asked
"Oh shit my turn?dare" he said with a smile planted on his face
Bryce pauses for a moment before scooting closer to us
"I dare you to kiss Anthony" he said snickering
"Can we talk for a minute first?" I asked
"You've got literally a minute I'm counting" he said tapping his wrist
Me and Josh walked into the hallway
"Josh we don't have to if you don't want to it's just a dare I'll take your consequence" I shrugged
"No no it's cool let's do it" he gave a small smile as we walked back towards the group
Kio shivering on the couch and griffin feelings his back where the pellets made contact with his skin
"So are you gonna do it?...or do you chicken out?" Bryce asked slyly

Josh's Pov
"We're not chickening out Bryce" I snapped back at him
He gave a sarcastic "mhmm"
"Just watch"
I leaned closer to Anthony but then felt the eyes on my back the pressure of everyone watching me
Anthony began to lean in closer to me I wanted to pull him even closer I wanted everyone else to disappear when I backed away
"Did you think I'd actually fucking kiss you"
I said emphasizing the word you
" You disgust me you f-"
I cut myself off when I realized what I was about to say
His face was bright red his lips slightly parted in shock

Anthony's Pov
My heart had broken from two sentences it wasn't like I was In love or anything but this hurt me worse than anything has it hurt because he was one of my best friends it hurt because he knew my secret it hurt because for a second just for a second I thought that he'd liked me
I bit my lip trying not to cry and got up
"I-um I'm gonna go upstairs" I said shakily trying not to cry

Jaden's Pov
Anthony's voice was shaky I heard him whimper on his way to his room
"Not fucking cool Josh" I said irritatedly as I got up to follow Anthony upstairs
"Your lucky you even had the chance" I muttered
I have no idea why Josh would say something like that hell I don't even know why he'd think it Ant is like the sweetest person I know who cares what his sexuality is plus it was just a dare...right

Josh's Pov
I wish I didn't hurt him I guess I was scared
I'd pushed this part of me down so far that I forgot it was there
If I could I'd let him know I was sorry that I didn't kiss him it's obvious to me now that I wanted to
