Caroly's P.O.V.

It was already morning time so I woke up. We were going to save my father from the evil Team Rocket.

I was counting on Type: Null to help us but he didn't have the intention of becoming friends with anyone. He just wanted to be left alone in his own place.

I knew that pokémon since I was very young and he was quite stubborn. He didn't want to be friends with humans... I wondered why... He wasn't even friendly with my father who saved him.

The point is that we didn't get along in any way possible and I doubted that it had changed.

Now we were all heading to Team Rocket's hideout. They've left a map of it's location together with that message we found in the lab.

"So what's the plan?" Alex asked.

"Maya and Alex, you'll have to distract the security guards, Talia and Taylor, you'll have to battle against the grunts..." I said.

"What about you, Caroly?" Maya asked.

"I... I'm going to talk with their leader, Giovanni." I replied.

"Ok, let's do this!" They all said in unison.

We arrived at the hideout. It was a pretty big place. We were looking for the entrance when a boy with brown spiked hair came in our direction alongside his Jolteon.

"Who are you?" The boy asked.

"We came here in a mission, to rescue my father!" I replied.

"Oh, so you're the daughter of prof. Liam?" He asked.

"Yes... I'm Carolina by the way, but you can call me Caroly. And these are my friends, Alex, Maya, Talia and Taylor." I said.

"My name is Jake and this is my partner Thunders. I'm Giovanni's nephew." He said.

"Oh... So you're part of Team Rocket?" I asked.

"Not really... I hate what my uncle does and I would love to stop him... I can help you if you want..." He said.

"Ok, thanks!" I said.

"So follow me, I can get you in." He said.

We all followed him to the hideout's entrance. He then talked to the security who let us in.

"If you want your father back, you'll have to get to my uncle's office... I would like to help, but unfortunately you'll have to go there alone..." Jake said "Not even your friends can come..."

"O-okay..." I said.

"I'll get you there." Jake said.

He got me to the office. You might be thinking why I was trusting someone I just met, but I knew that he was telling the truth. His expression... I could see the anger he had for his uncle's job.

"Ok, good luck!" He told me as he left.

I got inside the office. It was dark, very dark. Then I heard a voice.
