M/N is a quiet mute kid in highschool. Ever since being sexually assaulted at a young age, he has had trouble talking to other people. That is until the Highschool Heartthrob Kim Taehyung comes around.
You make your way to the kitchen and see your father sitting at the table. Your mother is at the stove finishing up breakfast.
"M/N!!" Your mother calls. "I made pancakes!" You smile and nod your head. "T- Thank you..." You mutter out.
You sit down at the table and look over at your dad who was scrolling through the news on his phone.
"I can't believe they let him escape like that." He said angrily at your mother. You didn't know who they were talking about but you could tell they were quite upset.
"I don't know honey, they have been searching for him for days and they don't know where he went." Your mom says bringing the plate of pancakes over to the table.
"W-who are y-you talking about." You say to them quietly.
Your parents look at you before looking at each other. "Uhm.. someone who robbed a bank escaped from the jail a few days ago." They day at the same time before putting their attention back on the pancakes.
You grab a pancake and scarf it down before an alarm goes off and your mother signals you it's time to leave for school.
"Cmon M/N. It's time for your first day of school!" She says while getting up and grabbing her purse.
"O-okay.." You get up and put your dishes into the sink. You walk over to your backpack and sling it over your shoulder.
"Bye M/N! Have a good first day of school!" Your dad tells you while smiling.
"O-Okay dad.. I-ll try." You say smiling back at him before looking back down at your feet and walking to the car. Your mom says goodbye to your father and joins you in the car.
You look down at your legs the whole car ride. You arrive at the school parking lot before your mom calls your name.
"M/N.. It's gonna be ok. I promise. If you have a panic attack grab use this." She hands you a picture of you, your mom, and your father. "It should help calm you down, but if it doesn't help. Go to the nurse and I'll pick you up. It'll be hard at first but trust me it will get better. And Chanwoo will be there supporting you aswell. The principal made sure to give you guys the same classes except electives. You'll be ok"
She leans in for a hug and you happily accept. You take the picture of your family and slip it into your pocket. "O-Okay Mom.. I'll try to stay strong. I- I love y-you.." You mutter quietly but loud enough for her to hear.
She smiles at you and you weakly smile back at her. "I love you too M/N" She says back to you. You grab your backpack and sling it back over your shoulder. You take a deep breath and step out of the car. The school and large crowd of high schoolers awaiting you. You look down at your feet and make your way into the school.
