I am silly with love,
A child,
Closing my eyes so it comes sooner
waiting for it
Expecting it to creep up on me
even when i give up on it
I look for it
In every little love letter,
In every person,
In every soul,
In every place
In every heart

I long for it

I am a child with love crayons
Colouring walls
Hiding for it to find me
Whispering it to the stars
And wishing for it
While wishing it away
Like monsters under the bed
That keep me company.

I am a child,
Playing hide and seek with love.
Counting down infinity,
Hoping it'll somehow find me.
