Lexi's POV
Cassie drove to met Rue and honestly I'm excited and nervous for this moment.
"I know that look on your face, Lexi, what's wrong?" Cassie asks looking at me.
"One, How the fuck are you able to read me so well? Two, I'm just a little nervous about today." I respond
"Well you are my sister and I've known you literally your whole life so you'd think I know all your body language by now." Cassie responds in a duh tone
"Also what could you possibly be nervous about? This is Rue we are talking about. You know the same Rue we've known since we were kids."
"Well ms know it all. I'm fully aware of who I'm going to see. I know it's just Rue but I've always liked Rue so I'm sorry after all this time of knowing her still she makes me nervous." I say shyly staring out the window
"Also the last time Rue had a "surprise" for it was her ending up in the hospital because she overdosed..... So I with being said I have every right to be nervous."
" You sure know how to brighten the mood don't you Lex" Cassie says in a sarcastic tone
"But I can promise you. Rue's surprise today should be amazing based off what she's been telling me about it" Cassie continues
"Wait you fucking knew about this the whole time?" I say punching her in the arm
"One Ouchhhh two yes I have known for a while and three enough talking we are here.
"But I-" I was cut off by Cassie shoving me out the car.
"Bye love you tell me about your date when you get back." Cassie yells driving off.
"Rude mf" I mumbled to myself
After getting myself off the ground. I look around and I find a note from Rue
"Welcome my love to part one of potential the best night of your life. Part one will consist to of a mini scavenger hunt to find me and your final surprise. Here's your first clue
No need to fear no need to stress go to the place where we shared our first kiss"
"The place we shared our first k- oh" I say to myself smiling like a idiot
Now I have to kill Cassie and Rue because I was JUST there. But I guess it's not too bad because I'm only 5 minutes walking distance around the block.
I finally get back home to find Cassie holding my next clue in my room.
"I'll deal with you later but I'll take that next clue" I say to her wiping that stupid smirk off her face.
I take the next clue and read it
"I'd just like to say I'm very happy you gave me this chance so to make it easy on you go to the place where we shared our first dance."
I immediately thought McKay's house. Is that mini scavenger just going to just trivia about us? That's so cute she remembers all these little things about us.
I sprint to McKay's house and guess who's sitting outside the man himself McKay.
"I would only assume you are here for this Ms.Howard" Mckay says holding up a letter and greeting me with a smile.
"Then I would say you'd be very correct Mr.McKay. May I have my clue please?"
"How about this I'll give you this clue if you tell me if your sister likes me. Deal?" McKay asks
"Guys are so dense of course she likes you, dummy. You are literally all she ever talks about. Now I've done my half of the deal. So hand it over." I say
"Fineeeee" he says
"Thank you sir" I respond snatching the clue out his hand and running away.
"You should definitely text my sister sometime it'll make her day" I scream back at him.
I stopped running and looked at my next clue.
" I know the day has been long it's getting dark so I'd like you to meet me at the-"
"PARK" I exclaimed
"I swear to god if it's not the park I'm killing everyone who made me run around all day.
I ran to the park.
"Man if Rue thought I was getting a little fat she could've just said that instead of making me run around all day literally," I thought to myself.
I finally got to the park and you'd never guess what I saw.....
