Randi saw nothing but darkness, and he could barely move. Where was he? Then, he remembered. The man in the purple outfit. The knife in Jeremy's stomach, then the purple man lunging at him with the knife, and everything going black. He heard soft murmuring nearby,
"Is he going to wake up..?"
"Give it time."
Randi blinked open his eyes, still feeling numb. Kids surrounded him, but something was off about them. They were..spirits??
"You're awake!" A girl nearby spoke happily. Randi sat up, looking at the other children around him. One was a slightly older child, with a brown sweater, pants, with black, fancy shoes. The other was a girl with blonde hair tied into a ponytail, with a t-shirt with sunflowers on it, a skirt, and dress shoes- Wait, why did they look nice? Another kid had fluffy blonde hair with sweatpants and white shoes. He stood close to the older kid, looking shy. Then there was him and..
Jeremy!
Randi got up, looking around for his friend.
"Jeremy? Where's Jeremy?" He asked. Before the kids could answer, he heard the door open and a figure slipped inside. They turned on the light, which was surprisingly dim, and Randi's jaw dropped.
There stood a large puppet. It looked at them, and Randi was surprised to see sympathy in its eyes.
"You poor children.." it spoke. I guess it wasn't an it anymore, it was a SHE.
"Who are you?" Randi asked, looking up at the rather tall puppet.
"I am The Puppet." She spoke, gazing down at Randi, "I'm here to help you." She pulled out a present.
"Steven, come here."
The older kid stepped forward, looking doubtful.
"Open it." The Puppet urged. Steven took the present and opened it, pulling out a Freddy head.
"Put it on."
Steven hesitantly put on the head, and suddenly disappeared. A surprised gasp escaped him,
"Where'd he go?"
"You'll see." The Puppet answered, then beckoned the girl forward,
"Come here, Nicole."
The girl stepped forward, taking the present and opening it. She pulled out Chica's head, and doing what Steven had done, she put it on and disappeared.
Henry, Steven's little brother, grabbed a golden version of Freddy's head from his present, put it on, and disappeared. Now, it was only Randi and Jeremy.
"You two are special." The Puppet murmured, "So that's why you are last." She gave Jeremy his present. He opened it and out came a Foxy head. Hesitantly, he put it on and disappeared. The Puppet turned to Randi,
"I'm sorry I couldn't give you Freddy. You didn't suit it. I can guess that you know who you'll be getting?"
Randi thought for a moment, going over the gifted heads to the children's spirits.
Freddy, Chica, Foxy, Golden Freddy..
Then he knew.
"Bonnie." He murmured. The Puppet nodded confirmation and handed Randi his present. He opened it and pulled out Bonnie's head.
"Bonnie has always been my favorite.." Randi spoke quietly, staring into the eye sockets of the animatronic. The Puppet smiled at him, waving her hand as a sign for him to put it on. Placing it over his head, everything went black again as he disappeared along with the other spirits.
