You found the pro-hero sitting on a roof of a building dangling his legs off of it.

You made your presence known to him so he wouldn't be as startled.
"Hey..."
The pro-hero repiled in a sad tone
"What's wrong?"
You asked concerned wanting to help your friend
He stayed silent and hesitantly spoke up
"What's the date (Y/N)?"
He looked up and turned to look at you and patted the ground next to him offering a seat. You sat down next to Hawks.
"Mother's Day? Hawks please, tell me what's the matter. I want to help you."
He sighed and finally spoke up.
"I just wish my mom was here."
He looked down as soon as he blurred it out. A wave of saddness rushed upon you both
"I'm sorry..."
"There's no need to be sorry."

Hawks, please. I'm sorry for your lost.."
"Everyone always say that."
"Cause they care about you, they want to know if you're okay, they love you. I love you."
Hawks stayed silent for a second before he hugged you and started to slowly sob into your shoulder
"I'm sorry...I'm sorry for not staying strong enough."
He said through sobs, you rubbed his back trying to calm him down.
"Hawks...5 in & 5 out.."
You repiled trying to calm him down.
"Everything is going to be okay"
"I promise."
