Jades pov:
I sat, Becks T-shirt pulled over my knees. Do I wake Beck? Or do I handle this on my own?
I hugged my knees and gripped my phone, debating every possible scenario in my head. Maybe he was bluffing? I sighed and listened to the rhythmic pattern of Becks breathing.
Buzz buzz. I felt my phone vibrate aggressively and without hesitation I turned it so I could see who it was.
A text. From Axel. It read, "come outside, if you bring Beck, I'll shoot you both dead. You have five minutes Jadelyn." I shuddered and looked over to Beck fearfully. Anxiety filled my body and ran over my skin like a rash, my heart beating like a base drum. I couldn't put him in this situation. Not after everything he'd done for me. I stood up shakily and clocked the time. It was 2:21 am now. I regretfully gazed down at Beck, sleeping peacefully and blissfully unaware of what was about to happen. I leant down gently and kissed his forehead delicately, making sure I didn't wake him. I had to protect him. What if I never came back? What if Axel murdered me? What if I never got to see Beck again? I quickly unlatched the necklace I had around my neck and placed it next to Beck on the sofa. Frantically, I ransacked his draw for paper and a pen, keeping an eye on the time. I had 2 minutes. I finally found the pen and quickly scribbled a note. It read, "if I don't see you again, I want you to know I love you. Axel said he'd kill both of us if I bring you. I had to protect you. I hope you understand, Jade."
I ripped the note out carefully and placed it next to the necklace and then headed towards the door, pulling my shiny doc martins on my bare feet.
"bye Beck." I whispered and opened the RV door silently, and gazed around, daunted by the prospect that in a minute I'd be faced by the man who tried to murder me.
I stepped out into the thick, dark night and shut the RV door as quietly as possible. I glanced around, shivering from the bone chilling wind that was blowing ferociously. Where was Axel? I shuffled quietly to the end of the RV where Becks truck was parked. No Axel. I breathed a sigh of relief. He really had been bluffing. But why? Just to freak me out? I turned around and began walking back to the RV door when I heard a deep voice from behind me.
"Where do you think your going, young lady." He announced creepily.
I spun around rapidly and met his eyes. Axels eyes.

Axels pov:
She spun around and I met her piercing blue eyes. She looked defeated. Weak. Pathetic. I caught a glimpse of the cuts on her legs and smirked.
Slowly, I crept closer to her until we were face to face, only maybe foot apart. Her skin was pale, he cheeks tear stained and black from her mascara. Her hair was shiny but pulled back in a ponytail like she couldn't be bothered.
"How did you find me..." she whispered, her voice cracking. I rolled my eyes and cocked my head to the side.
"Oh sweetheart, it wasn't hard. A google search of all the Jade Wests in Hollywood brought up all your social media profiles and from that I found Beck and well... you should really be more careful about tagging your locations on posts. Who knows what perverts and murders could turn up." I grinned, watching her face turn even paler and grow more horrified. My plan was set. In fact, it was fool proof. Now Beck wasn't here to protect her, she was weak.
"What do you want from me? You've already tried to murder me. Isn't that enough?" She growled, folding her arms.
She was visibly pissed. I noticed the way her temper changed drastically. A minute ago she was scared but now... now she was angry. How could someone's emotions change that fast. I knew it was a front. A bluff.
"I want to finish what I started." I hissed sharply, my words cutting her like sharp kitchen knives.
She shrivelled, taking a step backwards slowly. I stepped forwards. She couldn't escape me now.
"How did you escape the hospital?" She asked shakily,"I thought once you were better you were going to prison."
I grimaced at the thought. I knew I'd get extra jail time for it. But it was worth it. When I got out of jail, I'd have millions of pounds, a name change and a new job.
"You really want to know? I got up. I walked out. Hospital security started chasing me so I stabbed them with a scalpel right in their necks. My mother chased me too. Nurse Jackson? Remember, the nice one? They started putting the hospital on lockdown and the doors were locking. Yeah well, my mum grabbed me just as I was about to get out, and she was trying to pull me back. So I stabbed her in the leg and ran out." I recited coldly. None of it made me feel bad. It was my mums fault she got stabbed, not mine.
Jade looked taken aback, her hands covering her mouth in shock. I roared with hysterical laughter at her reaction.
"Why are you laughing?! You stabbed your own mother..." she murmured, stepped back from me again. I violently pulled out the shiny, silver scalpel very quiety. I held it up to the light on the side of the RV, examining the dry blood stains on it. It glistened under the yellowish light, the blood illuminated. She whimpered, a tear falling from her pale cheek delicately. I took a step towards her, grinning menacingly. She could scream for help, or yell. But would they even come in time?
I suddenly stopped. No! Stabbing her was TOO easy. Too predictable. I wanted to draw this out. Enjoy it. I had to finish the job properly. Staring at her intensely, I tossed the shiny blood covered scalpel to the floor. It clattered as it hit a nearby plant pot, scratching it slightly. It fell silent.
"How did your mum not know you tried to kill me? How did you hide it? How did police hide it from her?" She asked slowly, her voice shaking.
I rolled my eyes, groaning deeply and rubbing my head with the palm of my hand.
"You idiot. She knew. Of course she knew. The police would never let her not know. But my mum being the insane idiot she is, she didn't want to believe them. That's why she took you to me. She wanted your reaction - to see if you were scared of me. To prove to herself that her son had done that. Your fear was proof of my guilt." I growled, kicked the ground in annoyance.
I'd never really cared about my mother anyways. Since I was a kid and she'd left my alcoholic dad, she'd been nice. Too nice. I used to watch my dad hurt her and I knew when I went to bed she'd cry because she thought she was a disappointment. But weirdly, it didn't ever bother me that she was sad. As a kid I'd always missed my dad and I blamed her even though I knew it wasn't her fault. I guess that's why I'm so fucked up.
Now I needed a plan. I needed a way to kill Jade - then I'd finish the job and get paid. Prison didn't phase me. Then, I realised.
I violently grabbed Jades wrist, locking my fingers around it tightly. She twisted her arm, trying to get away but I was far stronger then her.
"Listen to me." I roared, pulling her closer to me, her face mere inches from mine.
She stood, not fighting, staring at me with her bright eyes.
"Your coming with me." I chuckled menacingly, yanking her aggressively towards my care. I showed my arms round her and placed my hand over her mouth to stop her screaming.
Quickly and quietly, I threw her in the back of my truck and then jumped in the front. I listened as I put the key in the ignition, and I heard it purr to a start.  I locked the doors with the main lock and began pulling away.
Suddenly I heard the windows go down and Jade scream for Beck.
"BECK HELP. MRS OLIVER? BECK PLEASE HELP. AXELS GOT ME." She shrieked at the top of her lungs. I started winding the window back up and watched in the rear view mirror as she jumped back.
"Wind down that window again and I'll cut your fingers off." I threatened, putting my foot on the gas. I saw beck running after the truck in my mirrors and accelerated. He'd never see her again if I had anything to do with it.
I grinned as I watched her sobbing in the back, begging me to turn around.
This is exactly what I wanted...

Becks pov:
I heard Jade screaming. Screaming for help. Saying Axel had her. I heard her call for me and my mum. I jumped up, sprinting quickly out of the RV to see a truck pulling away. I ran after it desperately, but it sped up.
I tried to snap a picture of the registration but it was blurry. I fell to floor, tears flooding my eyes. I had let Jade get hurt. I felt a hand on my shoulder. My mums. I sobbed, my eyes fogged with defeat.
"Dads calling the police. We heard Jade shouting and saw a truck pulling away." She reassured, pulling me up slowly.
I stood up, staring in the direction the truck went. It was a red pick up. Pretty common in Hollywood, but it had a blue spoiler. The car was definitely stolen, but if I could find it, I'd find Jade.
"Mum, I gotta go. Tell the police I'm going after them." I yelled, running to my truck.
"Beck, it's dangerous." She screamed, running after me.
"I don't care." I yelled back, putting my key in the ignition and pulling away before she could stop me. I accelerated quickly and pulled out, going at speeds I'd never gone before.
My mind was racing. I had heard her saying Axel had her. I raced through Hollywood Boulevard, not really sure where I was going.
Suddenly, my phone rang through the speakers as I stopped at a red light.
I picked up frantically, gripping the steering wheel until my knuckles turned white.
"Hello?" I half-shouted.
"Beck, she left a note." My mum said shakily.
"Saying what?" I yelled, focusing on the traffic lights.
It was silent for a minute as I heard my mum weeping.
"She loves you and... that axel would've killed both of you if she brought you." She sobbed.
I shook violently, my eyes blurring with fresh tears. The lights changed to green and I didn't move. Cars honked angrily behind me. Horns shrieked but I zoned out.
Where was she?
