Chapter 9 Boat Ride

As we walked down the pathway we stopped by the river and that's when you could hear drum beating and all of the sudden a large boat made of jelly or jello but I couldn't tell appeared as it stopped the Oompa Loompas laughing and then Violet asked "what's so funny?". "I think it's from all those cocoa beans" Mr. Wonka said. And then he started to say "all aboard" he yelled and everyone got on me and my dad were sitting at the end of it by Mr. Wonka I was actually sitting right next to him and I looked at my dad and he smiled. "Onward" Mr. Wonka said. And the boat started to move very slowly and then as if I know it Mr. Wonka hands me a spoon looking thing filled with chocolate and said " here try some of this it will do you good you look starved to death" Mr. Wonka said and I swallowed the chocolate and handed it to my dad and he swallowed it as well. " its great" I said with a smile. " that's because it was mixed by a waterfall, did you know the waterfall mixes the chocol-" "you already said that" Veruca cut in. Mr. Wonka was silent for a second then he asked " your all quite short are you?" "Well yeah were children" Violet said annoyed. " that's no excuse I was never as short as you" Mr. Wonka said. "You were once!" Mike yelled. "Was not! I sintinckly remember putting a hat on top of my head and your short little arms wouldn't be able to grab it" Mr. Wonka said. And Mike turned around annoyed. "Do you even remember what it was like to be a kid?" I asked and Mr. Wonka went silent and did a slow saying no and he went into his flashbacks.
