Chapter 14

I had some injuries on my body I was bleeding but I was trying my best to cover it up so kace and Linda could not see it i excused myself as I went up to the bathroom to clean up the wound I bandaged myself I took some pain killer and got changed I went downstairs pretending that everything was fine
"Ulika so what did you go upstairs to do" asked Linda
"Nothing I went to change my clothes, they were stained with blood" I replied
"Ohhhh" she exclaimed
"Wow, you look so beautiful in those clothes" said kace as he placed his hands on my waist and drew me closer to him. "Ahhhhhh" I said grinning I could feel the pain on my waist
" Are you ok?"asked kace with a curious face
" Yeah, I am" I replied forcing a smile out he held me by my waist as he took me upstairs he used his hands to cover my eyes
"Where are you taking me to" I asked out of curiosity
" I have a surprise for you" he replied, at a point we stopped walking and he asked me to open my eyes the background was decorated in a red and white colour and kace was kneeling on the floor surrounded by rose petals with ballons which states "WILL YOU MARRY ME" I was shocked as tears rolled down my eyes I jumped but I could feel some pains which made me stopped jumping I shouted "YES" as he placed the ring on my finger and grabbed me by my waist and raised me up the wound was already bleeding and I was losing blood but because of how excited kace was he didn't notice I was bleeding I tried to call him out but didn't have the strength as soon as he dropped me down I had already lose consciousness he rushed me downstairs as he saw the bandage it was completely stained with blood he unwrapped it as he fed me some of his blood the wound closed up in no time I finally woke up I saw kace beside me who was fast asleep I didn't want to wake him up I just wanted to keep on starring at his handsome face I placed my palm on his head as I pushed his hair backwards he woke up holding my hands
" Ulika you are finally awake" he said as he hug me and gave me a kiss
" What do you mean by, I am finally awake" I asked out of curiosity
" You have been unconscious for the past one week and did you know how afraid I was" he said kissing my palms as tears rolled down his eyes I raised his head as I wiped his tears and gave him a hug
" Kace promise me that you won't  keep anything from me and won't leave me" I said as tear rolled down my eyes
" I promise" he said as he stood up from the chair and laid beside me he cuddled me in no time I slept off I woke up the next day but kace wasn't beside me I stood up and found myself in my room I was no longer in the pack house and i went downstairs and saw kace in the kitchen he was preparing breakfast
" Morning my love" he said as he dished the foods and placed it on the dinning table I sat on the chair
" Morning " I replied I sat and had my meal as soon as I was done I cleared the table and left the dinning room I went to my room and took my bath I changed and got dressed
"Ulika" shouted kace I thought something was wrong as I rushed downstairs
" Why did you shout my name like that I thought something happened to you" I said taking a glass of water
" Hmmmmm I want to ask you a question so when do you think is the best day I can fix for our wedding" asked kace rasing an eyebrow and smiling
" So that is why you called me" I said
" Yes" he replied
" I thought it was an emergency" I replied
" Yes it is an emergency what if we don't ever pick a date and we grow old and di" he got interrupted by me
" Ok February 19 will be the perfect date" I replied and gave him a kiss and grabbed my bag I returned back in the night but kace wasn't back so I decided to prepare the dinner since he wasn't back I prepared the dinner and freshened up but kace wasn't back and it was midnight where could he be I thought to myself I was really getting worried could he be in trouble or was he in danger I said I grabbed a jacket about to leave the house as kace came back
" Hey, where are you rushing to?" He asked as he looked at me
" Hmmmm I was getting worried I thought something bad has happened to you" I said
" Do you want something to happen to me " he asked
" No that is not what I mean" I replied
" Nothing bad can happen to me as long as you are with me" he said giving me a hug I took his bag from him and took it to the room he took his bath while I was preparing the dinning table he got downstairs had his dinner  and we both cleaned up he carried me and placed me on the bed he placed his hands on my face as he placed his soft lips on mine I could feel a shock moving round my body
