Jessie's Dad's POV

Jessie has been missing for a few days. I haven't hardly slept any and neither has Lily. Right now Lily, Jay and I are sitting in the police station talking with some officers.

"Are you sure she didn't plan this?" The detective in charge questions.
"Yes sir. She would never do that." Lily answered confidently. I was trying to think of who could have gotten in our house.
"You don't have any security cameras? Even if we could get a glimpse of a car or person it would help." He questions again.
"No we don't. We have a doorbell with a camera but it only records when it detects motion, and I guess they avoided the camera." Lily responds. Jay was tapping away at his phone and Lily was desperately trying not to break down. My phone started to buzz in my pocket and I took it out.
"Hello?" I answered the unknown number.
"Dad, it's me." I couldn't hold back my gasp. It was Jessie. Everyone turned to look at me.
"Jessie? Are you ok? Where are you?" I frantically asked. Jay set his phone down and scooted closer trying to listen.
"Yes dad I'm ok. I'm-" she got cut off by what sounds like a gun shot. I sit up straighter.
"Jessie?! Jessie!" I shout into the phone. Lily looks worried and the cops are writing notes down.
"Jessie is with me now." A new voice spoke. The phone hung up and I groaned.
"Can you track this call?" I asked looking at the detective. He nodded and grabbed my phone. He tapped around and looked at something.
"We will get the exact location soon, it looks like she's in New York though." Lily gasped and began crying again. Jay hugged her.
"I'm going to New York. You call me and tell me exactly where she was." I stayed before standing up.
"Will do. We will have the police check it out as soon as we know." I nodded and walked towards the door.
"I'm coming with." Lily spoke.
"Me too." Jay stood beside her.
"No, we need someone here." I informed.
"I'll call my parents. I'm not letting you go alone." Lily spoke. She wiped her last tear and walked out with me.

The three of us quickly went to our house. The next plane would be leaving in three hours, giving us just enough time to pack a small bag and eat.

We finished everything and got to the airport. We quickly made it through security and boarded.

After a short flight we made it to New York. I looked down at my phone to see a text from the detective with the name of the town. It would be a thirty minute drive. We rented a car and made our way there.

Once we got there we went straight to the police station.

"How can I help you?" The lady at the front asked.
"I need to speak with whoever was sera hung for the missing girl." I told her. She nodded and radioed for someone to come in.
"Hello Mr. Paige, please come this way." We followed the officer back.
"The only thing we found at the scene was the women's phone your daughter called on, the women who had been shot dead a some blood belonging to your daughter." I gasped.
"Was it a lot?" I questioned.
"No sir, it would only be the amount from a small wound."
     "Oh good."

After our chat we decided to book a hotel and rest. The next morning we would be talking to people about if they had seen her.
