*Beep Beep*
I woke up to the sound of my alarm clock going off. I sighed and got up and got ready for another day of hell (School). I put on a white crop top shirt and black ripped jeans. I went downstairs to get breakfast and saw my dad sitting on the couch watching TV. I ignored him hopping he wouldn't see me, but of course that didn't work.

"Hey Slut come here." my dad said.
I walked over to him,"What do you want from me asshole?" I ask
He got up and pushed me against the wall then punched me in the face, that definitely was going to bruise. "Don't talk to me like that whore." He let go of me and I grabbed my bag and ran out of the house. After a little while I got to my best friend Colby Brock's house. I knocked on the door and Sam Golbach answered. Sam was my only other friend, we weren't as close as me and Colby but we were close,
"Hey Bree. What's up?" Sam asked
"Hi Sam, nothing much I just really need to talk to Colby." I responded trying not to break down sobbing.
"Oh, ok. He's upstairs." He responded with a hint of sadness
"Great. Thank you Sam." I hugged him and ran upstairs to see Colby. I got to his room and his door was closed but I didn't even bother knocking I just ran right in. Colby was on his phone.
"Hi Colbs." I said sitting down next to him
"Hey princess." He said not looking up from his phone. Colby had always called me princess, we weren't dating or anything like that he just liked treating me like a princess so he decided that is his personal nickname for me. The only problem with that is Colby didn't know I had a crush on him, no one did.
"Bree, did you hear me?" Colby asked
"What did you say I guess I just got lost in my thoughts."
"Oh ok, I asked what was wrong, you weren't supposed to come over for another hour so we could walk to school."
"I know. It's just my dad."
"What happened this time?" Colby asked concerned
"H-he call-ed me a slut then pushed me agains-t the w-wall and punched me." I had started to cry in the middle of the sentence
Colby put his arms around me and pulled me closer to him, "Princess everything is going to be ok I promise."
"Are you sure?"
Colby pulled my head up and wiped away my tears, "Look at me."
I looked at him, "I promise that it will all be ok."
"Thank you." He looked at em and started to lean in like he was going to kiss me when Sam came running in, Colby quickly pulled away and looked at Sam, "What's wrong Sam?"
"Ummm. We have like 5 minutes until we have to leave. Sorry if I interrupted anything." Sam said fidgeting with his hands because he was uncomfortable.
"Ok. Thanks Sam. You didn't interrupt anything." I responded getting up and grabbing my bag forgetting about my eye. While I was walking out of Colby's room Sam grabbed my arm and stopped me.
"What?" I asked annoyed that he stopped me from leaving
"What's wrong with your eye?" Sam asked, him and Colby both knew my parents abused me, but Colby was the one who knew the most
"Oh, my dad punched me today." I said, Colby walked up to me and looked at it.
"Oh I'm sorry for asking." Sam said
"It's ok. I think we need to get going to school."
"Oh yeah." Sam said
They grabbed their stuff and we walked to school in silence. The whole way there I kept thinking about how Colby almost kissed me and what would have happened if Sam didn't come running in. We got to school and I walked in preparing to be bullied and I was right. Right as I walked in I heard someone say,
"Hey slut, which one of your boyfriends did you fuck last night?"
I turned around and saw...
