She thought her petals were withering.

She thought her nectar was turning bitter with a hint of sour.

She thought herself odourless.

She thought her stem was the palest shade of green.

But majorly, she thought she hated herself.

Just as the thought crossed her mind, disturbing her restless pond of thoughts

She realized that she was looking at a more vulnerable version of herself

Nostalgia had clouded her thoughts and she was viewing her old self.

Thus, her new exquisite self rose in pride above not only her dark thoughts

Embodied by her older self

Who tried to suffocate her

But also above everything else

Which tried to crush her under.
