SILENCE WAS THE ONLY THING HEARD IN THE VETERINARY. Chengxin was incharged on that day and he got nothing to do. His dad owned the veterinary but they were the only ones working there. His father was a veterinarian and wanted to make a care center for the poor animals.
He stared at the sky through the glass window and wished his shift was over. Azzi, the pet shop's mascot dog who was a Chao Chao looked at Chengxin with its puppy eyes.
Chengxin picked up the little pupper and put him on the counter. Atleast he's got company.
He played with the pupper and rubbed his belly.
"Who's a good puppy? Azzi's a good puppy." He said in a baby voice trying to talk to Azzi.
The door was opened unexpectedly which made Chengxin jump and let go of the dog.
"Help! This dog's injured!" The boy yelped. The dog was bleeding in his arms and I quickly stood up and called dad. Dad rushed outside and saw the boy with a dog on his hand. He let the boy inside his room and took the dog.
"What happened to her?" Dad asked and the boy shrugged.
"I don't know. I think she was kicked by a few children. I just saw her on the edge of the street full of blood." The boy said feeling sympathy for the dog. So, it's not his dog? He still managed to rescue him?
"Maybe you should step outside for a bit. Chengxin?" Dad said and looked at me. I nodded and we stepped outside of the operation room.
"So that wasn't your dog?" I looked at him and he shook his head. "Just found him. He looked in pain so I rescued him." Wait, there are still people like him?
