"Do you know him?" I asked quickly.

He turned to look at me with those calm and shallow eyes then shook his head, "No. I thought I heard another name."

But before I could respond he entered the soccer field quickly and gestured for the rest of us to join him so that we could start practice.

It was lunch time and all I could think about was Amemiya's performance on the field today...like...he was awesome!
So skilled and damn the guy runs fast. I didn't know he knew soccer that well but...there was something strange today...

Although we played for an hour and a half...Amemiya didn't sweat at all...it's as if he didn't show all what he's got or something. He didn't look tired at all which is kinda creepy actually.....

I decided to stop thinking for now and enjoy my food until Hakuryuu showed up...

"Yo y/n! What's with the serious face?" He asked taking the seat beside me.

"It's nothing much...just thinking how Amemiya Taiyou didn't break a sweat while playing with all of us for a long time."

Apparently that took Hakuryuu by surprise since he spat out all the juice in his mouth...

"Yah! Haku be careful!"

He ignored me and widened his eyes at me, "Don't tell me that guy joined the soccer club..."

I nodded slowly as he sighed while resting back on the chair and raised his head up for a few seconds.

"Now it's even harder for you to stay away from him." He stated.

"I really don't get why you and Kyousuke keep telling me to avoid him...he doesn't seem like a bad person."

"Wait. You told Tsurugi about this guy?"

*nod*

"And he told you to stay away from him?"

*nod*

"As I said! Tsurugi once mentioned a name like Amemiya Taiyou before and so when you told me the first day that someone with that name sits beside you, I thought of the same thing!"

....*nod*

"STOP NODDING AND FOCUS WITH ME! LEAVE THAT SANDWICH FOR NOW!"

"Okay okay!" I swallowed the food in my mouth, "So wait. Does that mean Tsurugi knows him? When I asked him yesterday if he knows a guy named Amemiya Taiyou, he said no."

Hakuryuu turned serious again, "He said no?"

"Yeah..."

"....then it's a no."

"Wait...didn't you just say tha-"

He shushed me with his finger, "Just believe Tsurugi...for now."
Then he got up and told me that his next class starts in a few minutes so he gotta go.

I continued my food and headed to my next class too.

Chemistry

Arghh...I hate chemistry!

I entered the chemistry lab and found a familiar orange head standing by one of the benches.

"Amemiya?"

He turned and smiled at me, "Oh hey y/n!" Gosh his smile looks so cute but anyway...

"You have chemistry class too?" I asked him to make small talk.

"Yep, as you can see."

Then the teacher entered and handed us each a lab coat and eye goggles for safety measures.

Amemiya was standing beside me while a few chemicals and test-tubes were set in front of each student as the teacher started explaining what we should do.

She wrote the result of the experiment that should end up in our test-tubes but the result I had was completely different...

I glanced beside me to see how was Amemiya doing but I was surprised...he actually finished 3 more test-tubes and all his results were perfectly correct!

The teacher was patrolling the classroom and came across the bench Amemiya and I were working on, "Nice work Mr. Amemiya...perfect results I see." she complimented his work with a smile but that smile faded when she saw my work...

"Oh my Miss L/n...you got it all wrong." she commented while examining my work but I was actually embarrassed in front of Amemiya

When the teacher walked away, I heard Amemiya chuckle so I turned to him with my eyebrows raised.

"Seriously? You're making fun of me?"

"What? No. Let me help you." He offered his help and stepped closer to me which made me kinda uncomfortable but I ignored the feeling.

"You put the sulphur in first before the water...so when you add the acid afterwards, it creates the fizziness that you're supposed to observe. See?" He explained while showing me each step.

"Wow...you're so skilled in dealing with chemicals." I told him and he looked expressionless and cold, totally opposite from the look he had a few minutes ago...

"You think so..." He muttered but, although I heard him, I didn't reply.

The school day had finally ended and most of the students had already left so basically the school was empty. I was still there because I was on class duty that day so I ended up going home the last.

But when I was walking through the hall, headed for the exit, I was supposed to walk by the same chemistry lab I was in this afternoon. That's when I saw someone's figure moving inside.

I got curious at who might be in there at this time so I opened the door slowly and peeked inside.

Amemiya Taiyou? What he doing in there all alone and right when everybody went home already?

He was preparing some kind of chemical in a test-tube...what is that? Does he love chemistry that much or is it an experiment the teacher asked him to do?

But wait. Even IF the teacher asked him to do an experiment, why do it now? He looks suspicious....

He waited for everyone to go home and entered the chemistry lab alone...what if the teacher doesn't even know about him being in here?

*creak*

Apparently the door made a noise when I leaned on it which startled me...

"Who's there?"
