Dear mum,

I'm truly sorry for not writing before. I did receive your letter last week, but I've been very busy and I've just now had the time to write back. When I arrived at the school, I was informed that I would be placed in advanced classes based on my testing. As you can well assume, it's been a struggle. At least 80% of my classmates are the year above me. Luckily, this involves a good friend of mine, Susan Pevensie. We met before school.. on the platform! She is very kind, and she's been helping me with my studies and outbursts. As have my roommates, Elle and Vivienne. They're very understanding of my nigtmares and panic. I feel really accepted and happy here, mum. Funny enough, Susan's siblings go to Finbar and the neighboring school, Hendon House. Susan introduced them to me, and we've become quick friends. There's Lucy, who is two years behind me; and Peter, who is a year above Susan. And then there's Edmund, who is actually in the same year as me! I see them all daily, and by Jove, I would truly say they're like family. I even met their mother, who came to visit. (Keep in mind, they live much closer to Finbar's then we do, so don't you come taking a train to visit too.) She was very kind! Which.. brings me to my next point. Since Christmas break is coming, do you think.. perhaps.. that we would be able to have Christmas dinner with the Pevensies? Their mum has invited us, and well, it just seems rude to turn down an offer like that, right? Think it over, and let me know whenever you write back! I love you billions,

Grace xx

The Pevensies nodded as they read over the letter.

"It sounds good to me." Peter shrugged. Susan nodded.

"Me too. Very clever, saying that we met on the platform. And.. not very slick when you mentioned Edmund last, and separately." She laughed. Grace blushed and grabbed the parchment Lucy handed back to her.

"Oh dear, should I rewrite it? I'd like to tell her that in person. I haven't decided how she'll react yet." Her eyes scanned through the words as Edmund wrapped his arm around her waist and gently took the letter from her, placing it on the picnic blanket that the five were sat on.

"I think the letter is just fine, Posey. Whether your mum finds out by Christmas or not doesn't matter. Besides, I think my mother had enough happiness for the both of them." Edmund chuckled and the other three Pevensies nodded with his words.

"Only because now you won't be so grumpy, Ed." Lucy giggled and leaned into Susan. The boy simply just rolled his eyes as he reached for his apple, ignoring the teasing of his siblings and girlfriend. The group fell back into the chatter they began before the letter, only stopping when Susan checked her watch.

"Oh shoot, Grace we're going to be late for history. And Lu, you've got gym correct?" The small girl nodded as they began to pack their things. Peter and Ed helped, picking up what food remained from the lunch and folding up the blanket. Quickly, they all stood and turned to their respective schools. Edmund grasped Grace's wrist, pulling her back in for a quick kiss. She grinned, getting lost in his brown speckled eyes.

"Alright love birds, come along then." Peter gripped Edmund's sleeve as Lucy tugged Grace's skirt.

"I love you!" Edmund laughed at his brother pulled him away.

"I love you too, Ed!" Grace called after the boy and took her skirt from Lucy. "Alright, alright. I'm coming! Don't get your knickers in a twist." The Pevensie girls shook their heads at the girl, who didn't mind them a bit, too busy thinking of the feeling that Edmund always managed to leave on her lips. She mumbled to herself as the girls walked ahead.

"What a dream come true."
