I woke up and jumped straight out of bed. I got ready and opened the apartment door. Mark was smiling at me.

Mark: hey

Vanessa: what are you doing here? I asked smiling

Mark: well I wanted to walk to school with you

I smiled at him and we went out of the building

While walking we talked about random things

Vanessa: for how long have you been standing out of my apartment door?

Mark: maybe since 6

Vanessa: mark I wake up at 6:30

Mark: I wanted you to start the day by looking at my beautiful face

He whined looking at the floor. I pinched his cheeks

Vanessa: you're so cute!!!

Mark: ouchhh

Vanessa: sorry it's not my fault you're cute

Mark looked at me smiling and then he intertwined our hands.

I looked at him shocked, but he just smiled without looking at me

We walked to school hand in hand. As we reached the gates, I felt a bit scared

What if someone sees us?

What would they think?

Will someone beat me up again?

We looked up and our homeroom teacher was calling mark

Mark let go of my hand

Mark: I'll see you in class

After seeing him disappear with the teacher I sighed in relieve

I walked to class and sat down

My phone vibrates

I got a new notification
