CHAPTER TWENTY FOUR

Later in the afternoon, Meggie came home with someone, someone that could make any of her children mad at that moment but Kaylee wasn't home yet, she'd be the maddest.
Entering the living room with the person, Delia was the only one in the living room, so absorb in the music she was listening to with her headset.

"Delia dear". Meggie said softly and removed the headset 🎧 making Delia look at her.

"What mom? "She asked, slightly annoyed then she looked at the person.

"Meet your.. Father". Meggie said, she introduced Robert.

"My dear". Robert said and tried to touch her but she moved backward a little, startled.

"Don't you even think about it". A voice huffed. It was Tyler, coming towards them. He quickly went to Delia's side and pulled her closer.

"Tyler... ". Robert called.

"Don't you dare call my name". Tyler snapped in. At that moment Delia started crying, she hasn't seen him before.

"Tyler, Delia. Please". Meggie bagged.

"So you want him back". Tyler scoffed and glanced at Robert.

"I'm sorry". Robert said, tears trickling down his face. "Please forgive me. I know I've hurt you guys so much but I'm really sorry now". He said and coughed, Meggie gently patted him on his back.

"How could you dad?, you left us. You didn't care about us, all you were after was your fame". Tyler cried out. "You have a family, you can go and meet them ".

"I've always wanted a father. I forgive you". Delia said and hugged Robert.

"I'm so sorry my little angel". Robert said, stroking her hair.

"I know it hurts Tyler but you have to let it go". Delia said. Robert moved closer to him and hugged him.

"I'm deeply sorry son".
All Tyler could do was cry, Delia and Meggie joined in the hug. Few minutes later Amelia entered.

"Well, I guess that's all". She said, Meggie looked at her and smiled.

"Wait, where is your daughter.... I mean the big one... What's her name?". Amelia asked.

"Kaylee". Meggie answered.

"Dad who is she? ". Delia and Tyler both asked.

"She's the woman I got married to here". Robert replied, feeling embarrassed.

"Oh... She's Claudia's mother". Tyler whispered to Delia.

"Yeah, I can see the resemblance ". Delia whispered back.

"Only two things aren't complete yet". Meggie said as they all sat down.

"What's that? ". Amelia asked.

"Kaylee and Claudia ". Meggie replied.

"Well, Claudia is getting better, she's already getting over it. You understand what I meant but she's scared to come here, she doesn't know if you people are ready to accept her especially if Kaylee'd accept her". Amelia said.

"I've already accepted her as one of us and as my daughter". Meggie said.

"Yeah I know". Amelia said and looked at Delia and Tyler.

"Of course, we'd accept her". They both replied.

"Thank you".

"Kaylee would never forgive me". Robert said.

"Don't say that... She's your daughter, the blood still runs". Amelia said. Just then the door opened.

"I'm so fucking tired". Kaylee huffed as she entered. " who mis...... ". She paused immediately she saw Robert, her hand bag dropped. Robert stood up.
