In-Between (Kaidou x Hairo) [REBOOT]

Prolouge: Duelsexuality- wait that's not the word

3rd Person P.O.V.:

A little known fact; Shun Kaidou and Reita Toritsuka are actually quite good friends, despite seeming to have little to nothing in common. In fact, they quite often would spend Friday nights at each others houses, today was one of those days. The two boys were simply watching a movie and stuffing their faces with popcorn, whilst playing truth or dare.

"Twuff ow Dawey? (Truth or Dare)" Kaidou asked, his mouth full f popcorn, slurring his speech.

Toritsuka paused before speaking, "Truth..." Although he didn't know  it, he was about to start something big.

"What's something you did for a dare but ended up loving it?" Kaidou smirked, he was hoping he'd get something juicy about his friend.

Toritsuka hummed, "Oh definitely kissing Saiki, I mean I don't like him but that was certainly an awakening, like 'Hey! I like guys!'"

The blue haired boy nearly choked, "YOU'RE GAY?!?!?!" In all honesty he probably couldn't have yelled any louder.

"Nah, I'm bisexual, I have a female lean but I'm definitely into guys too!" Toritsuka couldn't help but laugh at his friends reaction, after all Toritsuka being gay was just about as likely as aliens abducting Kuboyasu.

Kaidou gave a confused look, he had never heard of being bisexual. All he knew was gay and straight, was bisexual....something in between?

Toritsuka's voice interrupted his thoughts, "Yes, bisexual means having an attraction to both males and females, basically a duel-sexuality, and yes it's a real thing"."

Kaidou's head was instantly filled with thoughts;

Was he bisexual?

How would he know?

How would people react if he was?

He decided against it, after all he had never had 'feelings' for a guy before, although he had never had 'feelings' for a girl either. He quickly hugged Toritsuka, making sure the latter knew he was accepted. Toritsuka gave a simple smile, as if to say 'thank you for not hating me'.

The two teenagers continued to watch movies and play truth or dare, just being bros late into the night- or so they had planned.

The two friends were surprised to hear a knock on the door so late at night. They both groaned before standing up to go investigate. It was only 10pm, but still, who would come out at this hour?

A/N: Sorry this was a short chapter, the others will be longer, this was just kinda the introduction I guess. I actually have a story plan for this and just a warning it will get quite heavy because I like fanfictions that make me cry , so heavy depressing stuff is my jam, so I will be putting trigger warnings but I promise y'all will get your fluffy bbys (in my opinion angst is the best lead up for the most meaningful fluff) Mkay bai, love y'all
