i woke up a little stressed the next day because i'm waiting for a call from the directors to let me know whether or not i got the part.

i decided to shake it off and get dressed for the day.
(full outfit above^^)
i figured i'd go on a walk to clear my thoughts. i grabbed my keys and my phone and left, locking the door behind me.

i walked down the long side walk admiring the beautiful los angeles houses and scenery. on my walk i stopped at a smoothie shop. i sat in a booth waiting for my smoothie when my phone started ringing. 'private number? weird' i thought

"hello" i said
"hello, is this sophie johnson" a man on the other side asked
"speaking" i replied
"this is jonas pate the director, you got the role of tessa myers" he said
"oh my god holy crap! thank you so so much" i said trying to contain my excitement
"i'll send you the script and all the extra filming details, but i need you in charleston tomorrow" he said
"wait tomorrow?" i asked
"yes, is there a problem" he asked
"um no no problem" i hesitated
"alright, i'll send you your flight information. please have the entire script for the first episode memorized. if you can memorize the rest that'd be great but it's not necessary" he said
"ok thank you bye" i said
"bye" he said and i hung up.

tomorrow is charli's 18th birthday, and i was supposed to go to the party. 'shit' i thought, someone had brought me my smoothie while i was on the phone.

i grabbed it, payed the bill and headed home. i needed to pack and call charli to tell her i couldn't make it. once i got home i started packing for the year or so that i'd be spending in Charlston.

after packing it was around 4:30 pm so i got up and grabbed my phone to call charli.

"hey char" i said
"hey soph, what's up" she said
"um here's the thing remember that audition i went to" i said nervously
"yea" she said
"well i got the part" i said
"omg soph this is huge!" she screamed excitedly
"yea but they want me in sc tomorrow, so i can't make it to your birthday party" i said sadly
she just said "oh"
"yea im so sorry charli" i said
"girl, it's okay! this is your dream you have to go!! don't worry about me i'll be fine" she said
"are you sure" i asked
"yes! go slay them girly" she said "do you want me to tell the others so you can get ready for tomorrow" she asked
"yea that'd be great. thanks for being so supportive char i love you" i said
"i love you too girly, kk i'll let you go get ready bye" she said
"bye" and with that she hung up

i laid on my bed for a bit before getting a notification.

i tapped the notification to see my face pop up. i laughed and tapped through the pictures.

i swiped up on her story to thank her. i then got a few more notifications that my friends tagged me on their stories.

they were all congratulating me for booking this role. i laid back down on my bed and started memorizing my lines. there were a lot but it was going to be worth it. i finished memorizing most of my lines at around 9.

i decided to call my agent because i knew she'd be awake.

"hey chloe, did jonas call you" i asked
"yep i'm so proud of you bb" she said
"thank you i'm really excited" i said
"you should be, this could boost your career!!" she said
"um do you know who's picking me up from the airport and where i'm staying or" i asked
"you're being picked up by madison and madelyn and you're staying with them" she said
"ok great!" i said
"i'll drop you off at the airport tomorrow k" she said
"ok thanks" i said
"yep, bye if you need anything just call me" she said
"alright bye"
"bye"

i hung up and decided to head to sleep, my flight was at 12 and i was landing at 3.
