Have you ever had a moment where you look at something, someone or some place and thought it looked familiar but you could never find out where it was from? Don't worry, you don't have dementia, Alzheimer's it what not

unless you're over like 60---

Anyways! You're not insane, and there is actually a name for this! It's called Anemoia, a nostalgia for a time or place that never happened. It's pretty freaky, but everybody playing until you actually find where it came from.

Now if you have never heard of this word before, don't worry! It's fairly new, the word being created in the 2010's.

An interesting thing about Anemoia is that it brings up a lot of questions about our brain and how it works. After all, Anemoia is memory affected. It isn't a bad thing and it isn't a disease. But it should be pondered, can people with HSAM (Highly Superior Autobiographical Memory) ever have Anemoia, or is it regarded as a completely new image? And if they view the image a second time a long time after, will they have Anemoia from said image? Or will it just be identified like any other memory?
