The Other Side

Chapter Two

I woke up a little while later and just thought about everything

Sure I was safe and in good hands but would I be able to fit in?

Would they like me?

After thinking and reassuring myself I went back to sleep

I was having a weird dream but for some reason but I was really enjoying it

'Lolly pop lolly pop oh lolly lolly lolly lolly pop'

'Ba doom dum dum'

'Come on baby lolly pop tell you why'

'dum dum'

'your kiss is sweeter than a cherry pie you think about it you can.... '

*tap*tap*tap*tap*tap

My smile faded my dream slowly fading away

I woke up to something or rather someone touching my arm.

I tried to ignore it but the tapping became harder and I realized it wasn't gonna stop anytime soon

I slowly opened my eyes to see Liam standing next to my bed rubbing his eyes.

I looked at the clock on the that was on the night stand behind him my eyes widening at the bright blue numbers

5:30

"Hey Lex, I'm scared can I please stay in here?" I looked at him seeing that he was actually afraid so I scooted over

"Come on" he hoped in immediately closing his eyes

"Thank you Lex" I smiled Letting him hug me

"Anything for you Liam" he opened his eyes smiling

"Sorry for bothering you" I sighed turning on my back

"It's no problem"he smiled

"I'm glad I have you as a sister, your not mean to me like my brothers" i laughed silently

"I'm glad to have you as a brother Liam" when I looked back at him he was already on his way to sleep.

I watched him sleep before I finally let great sleep take over me....

Again!

I woke up around 10 o'clock and the house still quiet.

I guess everyone sleeps late.

I stood up walking into the bathroom washing my face and brushing my teeth.

I walked back into my room putting my hair in a messy bun and putting socks on.

I stood in the mirror starring at myself for awhile before walking back into the room

I looked at Liam's sleeping form contemplating leaving him there. I thought against it picking him up placing him on my hip.

He stirred a little bit but stopped after awhile.

I walked out of my room shutting the door behind me.

As we walked down the hall I realized one of the other doors open but didn't think much of it.

I got into the elevator pushing the one hoping that would take me to the main floor.

Luckily it did and I walked into the kitchen putting Liam on one of the bar stools.

Just by my luck he woke up and rubbed his eyes looking at me

"Good morning Lex" I couldn't help but smile at him

"Good morning Liam, are you hungry?" He smiled nodding his head eagerly

"Yup" I smiled looking through the cabinets

"So, do you like french toast or pancakes or waffles" I said looking back at him

He looked deep in thought for a while before he answered me smiling

"Yes, can you make pancakes? Pancakes are my favorite ohhh a Mickey Mouse pancake sounds good"

I laughed at his beaming face grabbing pancake mix, eggs, and bacon.

I made the pancake batter first knowing it takes the longest.

I glanced over my shoulder to see Liam watching me with a smile you would see on the Cheshire Cat.

I made Liam mini Mickey pancakes and made myself some for the heck of it.

I also made scrambled eggs with cheese and I just put the bacon in the pan when the grease popped.

"Damnit!" I yelled then I remembered Liam was in the room

"Sorry" I mumbled

"It's fine I'm used to it" I smiled shaking my head turning back to the bacon

When it was just right I took it out putting it on our plates. I sat down next to him and we ate in a comfortable silence.

Once we finished I took the plates washing them and putting them away

"Time to get Frankie" I watched as Liam grabbed a brown paper bag and walked toward the elevator

"Are you coming?" I looked at him raising my eyebrow

I sighed walking into the elevator we got off on the 2nd floor walking to the 3rd room on the left

"Lex, this is Frankie" I smiled looking at the cutest baby ever

"I'm not allowed to take him out but you can"

I smiled picking the baby up putting him on my hip. I grabbed a diaper and wipes placing him on the changing table. I changed his diaper and he smiled.

"Hi Frankie I'm Alex" I said whispering to him but Liam shouted behind me

"Lex!" I smiled as he corrected me

"Come on Liam" I shut the door and got back on the elevator

I walked into the living room grabbing the remote putting on spongebob for us because hey it was a good show

Liam handed me the brown paper bag and I realized it had his food in it.

I opened the smashed peas which really stink and started feeding him.

Surprisingly he was really enjoying it.

After he finished it we sat back and watched spongebob deliver pizza.

A little while Frankie fell asleep and Liam was on his way.

I was still watching spongebob when Liam's head hit the arm of the sofa

It was a little after 1:30 when the elevator opened and I heard footsteps coming towards me.

Liam popped up and looked at me smirking

Well I guess I'm about to meet another one of my 'brothers'
