His and Kiyomi's crushes on each other are obvious to everyone but Kiyomi and Daiki's mother. He wouldn't dream of telling his mother he likes Arissa Renbutsu's daughter, knowing her burning hatred for Arissa.
He and Tsubame are often mistaken as twins even though Daiki is 10 months older, resulting in the two siblings being in the same year.
He's the only non-muso in his family, preferring martial arts from a very young age. Although he tried to hide this love from his parents, they soon found out. Hayato didn't mind as he was once apart of the Martial Arts Club in high school before joining the Light Music Club, while Dasuku was a little iffy on it. She eventually dismissed it as a simple phase, music runs in their family after all. She thought he'd be interested somehow.
