im trying (tsukishima x yamaguchi)

5 days before that day

Tsukishima's pov

Soulmates...

Is someone that people say belongs with you, soulmates are the one person that's always their for you or always knows what your thinking and feeling I always wondered why that was till I met him, my soulmate his name was tadashi yamaguchi at first I didn't know until I found out what a soulmate really was then I realized I've been bestfriends with him almost my entire life, after I found out I started to notice I could hear what he was thinking and I could tell what he was feeling when I wanted to know or when he got sad or had an emotion that was bad or was thinking something bad I would be able to feel it and know what was happening it came in handy especially when he got stressed over homework or when he got sad because someone picked on him. I could help him and make him happy, but nothing could have prepared me for that day

A week before that day

I waited outside of yamaguchi's house like I usually do, but for some reason he was late so I start to see if I could feel what he was thinking so I could know what was taking him so long, but before I did yamaguchi came running out of his house

"I'm sorry I'm late tsukki" Yamaguchi said while he was running up to me

"It's fine" I said while starting to walk to school

And of course yamaguchi followed me, by the time we made it to school volleyball practice was almost over
So me and yamaquchi didn't do anything but watch

"Tsukki" Yamaguchi says while looking at me

"What? " I say while still looking at hinata trying something then failing at it

"D-do you have a crush" Yamaguchi asks trying to stay calm

" Yeah" I say knowing who yamaguchi's crush is (it's him btw)

"O-oh oki" Yamaguchi looks away

"Who is it" He asks still looking away

" You" I say as serious as I can

" Huh" Yamaguchi turns his head so fast to look at me I almost start laughing

"S-stop joking with me tsukki" Yamaguchi says as he looks down at the floor

I was surprised he didn't believe me I've never teased him about
Something like this before so there isn't any reason to not believe me

I turn to look at yamaguchi, his head was still looking down I tried to see what he was thinking

Yamaguchi's thoughts

'Tsukki's so mean for a second I thought he was being serious,I really got my hopes up but I knew he would never like me.. What's the point in even asking I know I'll get turned down-'

before Tsukishima could hear the last part of yamaguchi's thoughts he hears someone yell watch out, as he looks up he see a ball heading right towards yamaguchi's face before yamaguchi could react Tsukishima pulls yamaquchi to his chest right as the ball hits the wall, yamaguchi was stunned he was leaning on Tsukishima's chest as he looked up someone yells

"Sorry my bad" It was tanaka

As tsukishima looked down he saw yamaguchi with a blushing face and that makes his face a little red too

" Are you ok yamaguchi?" Tsukishima asks

But yamaguchi couldn't answer he opened his mouth but no words came out he was too shocked that he was leaning on Tsukishima's chest, but when he finally got enough courage he pushed tsukishima away and yelled

"S-sorry tsukki" As he ran out the gym

After that tsukishima didn't see him all day at school even in the class they had together, he started to wonder if he went home or not, sence tsukishima couldn't know right then he tried to see what yamaguchi was thinking

(Yamaguchi's thoughts)

'Why did I skip the whole school day I'm so stupid now I'm going to have extra homework, the only reason I even ran away was because I knew tsukishima didn't feel the same so what was the point in staying their. I probably made him feel uncomfortable or something I'm such a stupid person why am I even hear I'm just sitting alone on a park bench I'm so pathetic'

*ding dong*

I snap out off yamaguchi's thoughts
As I hear the bell rings ending school for the day, I remember were yamaguchi said he was so after I got out of the school I started running towards that direction after a few minutes of running I see the park and yamaguchi sitting on the bench I start to walk up to him but before I could say something or even notify him I was behind him he start crying, I get startled I didn't know why he was crying all I could feel from him was pain it wasn't physical it was emotional before I could reach out and put my hand on his shoulder he started yelling

" WHY!! WHY DON'T YOU LOVE ME TSUKKI, AM I REALLY THAT HARD TO LOVE THAT HARD TO CARE FOR, AM I REALLY JUST A WORTHLESS NOBODY TO YOU.....what am I saying of course I am I'm stupid, and worthless, I'm not useful to anyone I should just di-" Before yamaguchi got to finish I pulled him into a tight hug putting one of my hands on the back of his head and the other around his back

"T-tsukki? When did you get-" Before he could finish I yelled

" I love you yamaguchi, I love you so much, more than anything" I hug him tighter then I was

"I-i" Yamaguchi starts to cry more and more

I start to lift yamaguchi's head up by his chin, I could see he's been crying for while, I put my hand on the side of his face and put our lips together I could feel his tears dripping down his face, after a few seconds I broke of the kiss, I looked at him while getting his hair out of his face and wiping the tears from his eyes

" Yamaguchi" I say while looking at him

"Yeah, tsukki" Yamaguchi says while sniffling

"Will you go out with me?" I say still looking at him

" Yes, of course" He says really fast

I lean down and put my lips on his giving him a passionate kiss
