So this is my first book and I just really wanted to celebrate darker skin tones, because a lot of Wattpad writers tend to only use light skinned or mixed characters in their books. 😽

It's 2:00 am and Layla and coco pissy ass drunk and Layla need to hurry up and sober up because juvie usually leave the trap around 3:00 and she know good and well he don't play that shit he expect so much more than That from her "Layla come on get up juvie finna be home" I said standing he up from off the floor and when I tell you people be feeling 20 times heavier when their drunk I mean that shit "No Justin don't care about me tell him go worry about his baby mama" she said holding on to my shoulders "You know that man care more about you then anything in the world you his only sister" I said carrying her to the door "Say duck come lock up real quick we finna head out" I said closing the door "Mykel let me go I can walk" she said letting go of me and stumbling in the car and putting her seat belt on I ain't even go lie i can't stand being around drunk people it just brings back so many childhood memories that I'd rather leave behind "Mykel I really don't wanna go home just let me spend the night with you nanny Candace don't be tripping" she groaned "But you know she gone trip about you being drunk" I replied back because she know that's some shit my mama can't and won't tolerate "I'll just take you home" I said speeding off from the parking lot
After like 15 mins of driving I stopped at McDonalds because I'm hungry and pretty sure Layla is too "You hungry" I asked pulling up to the drive thru And she shook her head no "Fine can I get a Big Mac large fry and a sprite please"

I am pretty hungry but I'm not in the mood to eat right now I just can't stop thinking about my brother hiding his life from me their can't possibly be a good reason for him keep this from me "That'll be 5.99 please" the lady at the drive the said politely He handed her a 20 and got his food "Keep the change"he said speeding off "Mykel can I ask you something" I whispered and He nodded "Do you know how it feels to have someone close to you go and start a family with out including you in it" I said as tears flowed down my face He took a deep breath before speaking "Did you forget for 10 years my pops hid his 3 kids and wife from me and my mama" I really had forgotten that that even happened because my mama wasn't the type to tell her best friend business to her kids even though we still knew it wasn't something she talked about "I'm sorry I really forgot" I said under my breath "Nah it's good but you need to realize that juvie ain't trynna keep it a secret he's trying to protect you from getting to attached to this girl and her baby" I instantly got confused "What you mean attached" I asked "talk to your brother go ahead and go in the house" he said pulling up and unlocking the door "Bye love you" I said hugging him and getting out "Stop being gay bruh" he laughed "Nah I'm playing love you too get in the house before juvie get back _______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ I'm sorry I had to take a mental break from my phone for a while What y'all think ?
