You say you have nothing going for you,
You don't know that yet.
I say your only 12 and you don't know that,
I guess my words were just a catch.
We both have one thing in common,
We believe we're going to fail.
They think were lazy, ugly, rejects,
They don't know the details.
Life makes you try to conquer the sky,
Pressure makes it hard to try.
Expectations may be high,
Maybe it's easier to give up and die.
Everyone constantly lies about their struggles,
Everyone covers up their problems.
Nobody says everything is perfect,
Nobody knows that everyone has fallen.
You saw that ant,
I squashed it later.
We laughed it off,
They think it's a failure.
Everyone can care less,
Nobody thinks we're any better.
