Chapter 22 - "Guest in home"

Afternoon. Adrien had already came back from photoshoot and was lying on his bed, thinking about Marinette. He felt guilty that she had been ill. Because of Cat Noir she had run out of bakery in her pyjama. Because of him she was crying...

"Should I visit her?" asked Adrien, looking at the ceiling.

"You mean Marinette? I don't know kid. The last time you visited her she ended up crying. You want to hurt her more. huh?" said black kwami.

"I didn't mean Cat Noir. I meant me, Adrien Agreste. Would she be happy to see me?"

Plagg didn't respond to that instantly, he was thinking about that idea, while Adrien hid his face in a pillow.

"Wouldn't you be happy if someone you lov... I mean your friend visited you?"

"Of course I would... but I know my fahter wouldn't let them in..."

"You underestimate them. They would do much more than you think. You don't even realise that."

"So what should I buy for her?"

"Heee?!"

"You know, for Marinette. What should I give her when I visit her?"

"I don't know that girls like. I would give her camembert."

"I can't give her cheese. You only think about food."

"Then buy her the same thing, you would buy for Ladybug. This should work."

"That's right! You're genius, Plagg! I'll buy her chocolates."

Plagg looked annoyed. He could not believe that Adrien was so stupid. Despite the fact he was a famous model and many girls had been crazy about him, he didn't know how to deal with any of them. Plagg sighed.

"And I have been wondering why you don't have a girlfriend..."

"Huh? You said something?"

"Yeah, that your father won't let you visit her."

Adrien grabbed his head with both hands.

"Oh God... I forgot about that..."

For the next 10 minutes was hestitaing if he should have asked for his father permission or run as Cat Noir. At the end he decided to talk to his father.

"Why would I let you visit your friend? You could get infected too and what then?"
