"Oceans"

From a far I see,
All your inner beauty.
At first, im afraid to test.
Wondering, "what is your depth?"

Distanced myself, stayed at shore.
Slowly you enchant me, worries ignored.
Walked, paddled, did everything,
Just to see your center shinning

Everyday I come back to you.
Thought, deeper is the right thing to do.
But I was wrong, thought could swim.
There's a whirlpool, I screamed.

Lacking sleep, lacking dreams.
Im drowning and it fears.
Cant breathe help me out.
Save me, I cant shout.

Waiting for a life guard to come by.
Holding my breath, i cant die.
Realized, myself is my own salvation.
There's no superman at this station.

From the sea beds, swimming I started.
I know the surface is at a far away end,
But slowly and surely im saving myself.
From this ocean, my thousand deaths.
