With fair skin, her amber eyes seem to stand out, framed by fading freckles and dark brows. Gretchen is slightly taller than your average girl, but certainly not a giant. Her frame is lithe and light, and it has been assumed before she has an eating disorder due to how thin she is, though this is more or less false. Something about her seems not like the graceful dancers on a stage, but more like a girl born of the stars, lost and trying to find a way home.

personality:

Gretchen could be described as inexperienced, a wanderer, elusive, yet reliable. She never seems to tell everything, a bit secretive, but talks quite a bit, and seems to get along with most she meets- at least at first. once one gets to know her, stubborn is another word they may use to describe her, seeing as once she makes up her mind, she'd be hard-pressed to change it. additionally, she observant and inquisitive, but this tends to conflict with her inherent individualism and desperate wanderlust.

why she came to stay at the bnb:

it's her last summer before university in the fall, and she wanted to travel a bit without her overwhelming family. When things went south and plans awry, she found herself at the bnb and decided to jump on the opportunity of some sort of adventure. It hardly seemed like a coincidence, to her anyways.

likes:

books, the stars, constellations, looking for meaning where it probably isn't, animals (particularly cats) and herbs

dislikes:

nuts, spiders, strict planning and lack of opportunities, the idea of living in a big city, whenever she stumbles into something due to her head being in the clouds rather than inherent clumsiness

other:
