"Your name will be Beyazid"
"Your name will be Ibrahim"
"Your name will be Gevehran"
I smiled down at the two babies in their beds. I looked down proudly at the two babies before moving my gaze to the one in my arms. Yet again I give this dynasty three beautiful and healthy children.
I kissed my son's forehead unable to let him go just yet wanting to spend as much time with all three of them as possible especially after the scare for their and their father's life.
"You're already spoiling Beyazid" Ahmed teases making me laugh a little. I looked down at the babe in between my arms he had his father's brown locks and brown eyes.
I felt my heart flutter every time one of the babies moved or made a sound reminding me that they're alive and nothing went wrong.
"Will you please explain to me the explosion Ahmed" I begged moving my gaze from the sleeping babe to my husband who chuckled.
"It was a secret move we've been planing for a while but I was held back a little by one of the guards which earned me this scar," he said pointing to his right eye.
"I like it" I voiced my opinion. He looked at me with a raised eyebrow, I could only shrug.
"It shows how much hardship you went through to get where you are, one of the most powerful and majestic sultans this dynasty has ever seen" I explained placing my hand on his cheek. He closed his eyes taking in a deep breath.
"You have no idea how much you scared me Jawhara. When I saw you unconscious I went crazy and screamed like a maniac which I wouldn't be surprised I would've been if you haven't woken up" he said making my heart flutter. I got off the bed wincing a little at the pain that shot in between my legs still recovering from the birth. I walked over to the third bed placing Beyazid in it before walking over to Ahmed and sitting down on his lap.
"I love you" I whispered in his ear wrapping my arms around his neck. Unable to hold myself in I felt tears leave my eyes again.
"I don't know what I would do if you died. I'll probably follow you right away my love. Life seems so dull and colorless without you" he whispered back in my ear. I felt the air in my lungs leave and nothing filled its place leaving me breathless supporting myself on my lover as he whispered my worth in my ear.
"I could write you a million poems and none would come as close as to reality. I wish for your name to be always remembered whenever mine is too. I will make sure that in hundreds of years time whenever my name is mentioned for my great victories yours will be too as the great sultana who was able to maintain stability in the dynasty as her lover fought battles, the sultana who was able to balance the dynasty and motherhood like it was nothing, the sultana who was able to birth six children in only two pregnancies and got up like it was nothing. You Jawhara are the strongest woman I've ever encountered in my life and I'm sure the world will never see a woman like ever again" Ahmed whispered in my ear.
I accidentally let a sob slip through my lips as the true meaning and the impact of his words hit me like lightning straight in the heart.
"Ahmed..." I was at a loss of words not knowing how to respond to any of those words. I looked into his brown eyes that were filled with love and wisdom.
"Shhh don't say a word, my love, just enjoy the moment" he muttered placing his forehead to mine. I closed my eyes letting a tear roll down my cheek leaving a wet trail behind it.
"How can you make me fall in love with you more than I already am?" I asked in a hushed and hoarse voice. He moved one of his arms from my waist and placed it under my knees pulling me up as he stood up walking over to the bed placing me back down on it gently before joining me under the sheets.
"I should be the one asking you that" he muttered placing a delicate kiss to my lips like he was afraid of breaking me. This man still has the same effect on me even after so many years.
He could ask me to jump out of the window and I would do it. He could ask me to jump in the ocean and I would do it. He could ask me to kill and I would. He could ask me to sacrifice everything and everyone I loved and I would do it.
Our hearts became one many years ago and so they will stay for the rest of eternity. We were one body, one soul, and one heart. When one of our hearts stops one day the other will stop too, it doesn't matter if it was literally or not, if Ahmed was taken away from me by death I am more than sure I will no longer be able to smile ever again, never to love ever again.
Ahmed was more than my lover, he was my lover, my brother, and my father. He's my family. He's my everything.
I promise you, Ahmed, that no one will ever be able to take your place in my heart ever. Your the only man that'll ever get to touch me, feel me, and love me. You're the only man allowed to see me so vulnerable and weak. You're the only man in this world who's allowed to love me and if another had the smallest liking towards me I will end him without even blinking. I am yours forever and always. My lover. My brother. My father.
My Ahmed.
