Every writer has their own style, even you! For some, it may come naturally to them, but for others, not so much. Before you can even think about writing a story, whether it be a novel, book, or fanfic, you need to find your style. Take inspiration from other authors! A wise relative of mine once told me that other authors as the best teachers. However, I am not saying plagiarism, or the stealing of others' art, is ok at all.
