Both Sahil and Sachin are brought in and investigated without their knowledge of each other's existence. Gopali, an inspector who shares an old rivalry with Sahil, tortures him. Sahil reveals his car broke down, and a call taxi driver helped him. Sachin, on the other hand, cites various laws to escape torture.
Sub-inspector Malarvi, is assigned to solve the case. She reaches out to Sankash's friend and shows him the photograph of Sahil/Sachin but he refuses to recognize him.
