The Capture

The air whipping me on the face was lovely. I concentrated on enjoying it and not worry a lot of the problem at hand, even though it was absolutely impossible. I could only think about what I was going to do and I somehow created an alternate timeline where I wasn't going to do that.

I had to stop at different points to prevent Narnians from seeing me. Of course they would report it back to Glenstorm and try to stop me. If that happened, I would have no choice but to stop them from stopping me....and I didn't want to hurt them.

The moment I reached the edge of the woods surrounding Aslan's How, I saw two minotaurs and two wolves keeping guard of the entrance. I got off of Thomas and made sure that my weapons were in my bag. I took just one thing with me - my mother's dagger.

Before I could walk into the clearing, Thomas pulled the hood of my cloak. I looked around and saw that he was very sad. He was trying to use his convincing trick at me but I wasn't going to budge. It was for Narnia. Nobody could stop me.

"I'll be back." I rubbed the area between his eyes to calm him down. "Stay alert."

The dream that I had.....that wasn't the time to think about it but I wasn't going to let anyone risk their lives for me. If the Witch wanted me, I would face her. I was going to show her who I was.

I took a deep breath and walked out of the woods. The guards saw me and two of them came towards me while two of them rushed inside, probably to inform everyone that I had come.

The minotaur came towards me with a spear in his hand. I raised both my hands in the air and kept it on my head. "Remove that." He said, poking my cloak.

I removed it, expecting something like that would happen. I held it on my left hand and dropped it on the ground. "What else?" I asked them and the wolf howled. "Calm down, dude."

Another wolf howled from the direction of the How. "Move." The minotaur pushed me forward and I started walking.

I looked around and noted the details. Trumpkin had thought me well. Four people outside. I looked up at the outer structure of the How and smirked to myself. No guards there.

I immediately changed my gaze because the wolf was pretty smart. He was following my gaze and I couldn't reveal my plans, now could I?

We entered the How through the front and I saw that they had lighted all the corridors using wooden stakes. I looked at the walls for the engravings and thank goodness, they were still present. The minotaur pushed me forward while I turned to look at the walls.

"Quit it." I said.

He did it once more and I used the trick I did with Trumpkin when we met for the first time

He did it once more and I used the trick I did with Trumpkin when we met for the first time. I turned around and grabbed the spear from him. The wolf pounced on me, or tried to but I used to spear to block his attack. "I'm sorry for hurting you, but stop pushing me." I looked the minotaur straight in the eye, handed him the spear and continued walking down the corridor.

The wolf and the minotaur were confused by what had happened. A human apologising for attacking in defence? Confusion. And the confusion was more because I had surrendered without any backup. It was really fun to see.

We came out into the clearing inside the How and I saw every beast inside turn to look at me. One of them walked towards us and then, we continued walking further inside. The Witch's army was sharpening their weapons, ready for war and for any attack at them possible. I looked at everyone and they looked at me, except for the fact that I was noting down what was happening and they were surprised by my presence.

I knew where we were going. The torches didn't need to light the path for me but it felt symbolic. As we reached the tunnel, the minotaur spoke. "Go."

I turned around and looked at him. "You're not coming?" He gruffed in response. I liked to mess with people's minds, especially the enemies'.

I walked down the last path. Alone.

Somehow, I knew what was going to happen. We come into this world all alone and the opposite happened the same way. We are our own beings. I could see the light at the end very clearly. I felt chilly all of a sudden but that was expected. I walked into the inner room and at the end of the room, was my doom.

The walls were covered with ice barriers. The whole room resembled as though it was made of ice. The usual brown look of the room was now blue. The fire in the hearth was destroyed and right in front of me, the lion was hidden behind an icy barrier.

"No." A sigh escaped me.

She seemed taller in person

She seemed taller in person. She had her hair in a braid, exactly like I had mine. There were ice crystals on the braid and her skin looked paler than it was. She turned around once she sensed my presence. "So the lost Princess returns." She smirked.

"You wanted me, right? I'm here."

Both of us wearing similar dresses but we looked like opposites. I had dark hair and she had pale hair. I had brown eyes while she had green eyes. She was tall and I was the average height. We were opposites.

"It seems really stupid that you would come here without anyone." She walked around the Stone Table, looking at me like the hunter that she was.

"I can read between lines."

She squinted her eyes at me. "I'm sure that you have some questions for me."

I was taken aback. I was expecting her to propose something to me or for us to have a fight. I didn't realise that she would want to talk to me. After all, I was the only one who survived her wrath. "What's going to happen now?" She raised her eyebrows. "You wanted me and I came." I stood a little straighter. "What now?"

The White Witch laughed. "Child, I am a thousand years older than you." She said. "What else?" She asked, without answering my question.

"Will you really leave Narnia now?"

She mocked me by sitting on the Stone Table. "I was expecting questions about your parents. Don't you want to know what happened to them?"

I was about to charge towards her and punch her across her beautiful face but her guards stopped me. I tried to fight them but they got hold of me and dragged me to her.

"Leave." She told them as she got down.

She caught my face with her hands and pressed my cheekbones together. The pain didn't matter but I struggled breaking free and I did it as I stood up. "Why don't we take it face to face?" I asked.

"Lets." I felt a sharp pain in my stomach. The White Witch had brought out her staff and plunged it into me.
