"You want me to do what?"
"Pack a bag for the weekend, mia cara."
"Why? Where are we going?"
"You'll know soon. Meet me outside in an hour"
Dante disconnected the call while I stared at the phone in shock.
Walking to my closet, I picked out some outfits and packed my bag, looking at time. I still had about fifteen minutes.
Knocking on Donna's door, I went inside, "Hey I'll be..."
Just then I noticed Damien, both of them watching some horror movie.
"Where you off to?" Donna asked, checking me from head to toe.
"Ugh....I'll be gone this weekend."
"Where?"
"I...I don't know. It's a surprise."
"Loverboy?" She smirked, "well, enjoy."
"Another secret?" Damien mumbled, giving me an annoyed look.
"I'll just....I'm going."
Sighing, I went into my room to get my bag.
"What's up with you two?" Donna came in and sat on my bed, grabbing my bag.
"He's overreacting. Even he has secrets from us D. He's hid relationships too,you know."
"What you and loverboy got going is something pretty serious. Damien tells us something if it's serious. Of course he'll be hurt."
I sat down besides her, dropping my head in my hands.
"I know okay? I know I'm a bitch for keeping things from the two of you. You think it's easy? I just need more time."
"Alright baby, just know what you're doing."
She hugged me and left, giving me enough time to calm down.
"Get your shit together Adriana." I whispered before getting up.
I grab my bags and rush down, finding Dante's car parked far away.
He was with his driver, which he rarely was with me.
"Give a hint? A little one?" I asked as soon as I got in.
"We're taking a plane."
"That's not a hint!"
He grinned, taking my hand in his, "trust me, cara."
"Thankyou for this. I really needed to get out."
"Any specific reason?"
Sighing, I moved closer to him, "Damien has been acting distant. Even Donna has started to question me. I know, I know. We'll tell him when the time is right. It doesn't make it easier though."
