He was confused between flowers and chocolate, running his hand through his hair, he chose to take them both. He tiptoed in the house, searching for his wife. He found her on the sofa, watching her favourite film.
He was awestruck, with her beauty still. The way her eyes lit up every time, when she saw  romantic scenes. Her hair tied in a messy bun, few landed on her cheeks. The curve of her lips , while watching the best scene, and suddenly tears rolled down those beautiful eyes.

She would always get captured in the film, as if she was a part of it. There would be laughter, crying, and growls too at the villain.
Those feelings would run wild in her by the end, and she would hug him, or simply hold his hands coming back from reel to real.

He smiled, she was adorable, innocent, naughty, sometimes even angry, just like a child's honest reaction.

He made his way to her, and gathered her in his arms. He wiped those tears away, and hugged her.
"I love you", she mumbled holding onto him.
He was on cloud nine again, hearing those words. Took out the chocolate and tore it open for her. She laughed and kissed his cheek.

She deserved love, she deserved it all.
He wanted to make her happy, everyday. Love is happiness.
He gave her room to make her own decisions. Love is trust.
His mind was filled with her images. Love is loyalty.
His hugs were always tight. Love is security.
He kissed her on the forehead. Love is promise.
He pinched her cheeks. Love is laughter.
He made some space in his closet, cupboard, bed. Love is family.

He was contented to hear her say that. He was proud to have accomplished that.
Simply because he loved her. Love is forever.

"I love you, too", he said and greeted her with red roses.
She made it all this effortless, and it was all reciprocated. She truly was his partner in crime.

He poked her nose, "Are you done crying? "
She smiled, "Yes, the movie gets me every time".
"So how about dinner? Let's cook it together? " He suggested.
Her laughter echoed in the house, "Together, yeah right. All you do is sit in the kitchen and watch me cook. "
"I want to watch my movie, it's my turn now", he kissed her.
Love, a four letter word, way deeper meaning, which bound them together.
