As the two girls ran across the field, the dinosaurs around them started running as well. Their legs felt as if they were burning, Katie was slowly falling behind. Making sure her friend was ok, Charlie stopped, the sight of the herbivores running around them, making the brunette gape in awe. The hill they were previously on, now stood two brachiosaurus’, meaning that the thought of a carnivore following them, was not likely. There might have been one farther away. Katie then appeared by her best friend, trying to catch her breath.

“Because you stopped does this mean we’re safe?” She breathed out. Charlie shook her head at the blonde.

“We don’t know where we are, but the only place I know of that has Dinosaurs, is Jurassic World. I’m pretty sure that our plane was to fly over Isla Nublar anyways, but we don’t know where our next human contact could be. Or our first carnivore contact may be.” Katie gulped beside Charlie. “Hey, nothing to worry about, you got me!” Charlie smiled at the blonde.

“Ya, whatever, we could still get eaten, you can outrun them, well maybe, but I can’t! You know like every single detail, I don’t! And don’t even get me starte-” Katie was cut off by Charlie.

“Katherine! You’re rambling!” Katie looked at her friend, scratching the back of her neck embarrassed.

“Sorry Char.”

“We should get walking, we have to find shelter, or the park. Let’s go.” Charlie walked on, ignoring the dinosaurs, like it was normal for her. Katie on the other hand, did not feel safe, and always made sure to stay near Charlie. After around two hours of walking, the girls started following a path, voices could be heard. They step out at the end of the path to see a paddock, men walking around, things being shouted. A white man in a blue button up shirt and a brown vest, was the first to spot them. His eyes spotted the scratches and bruises on their arms and legs. He went to the black man beside him, telling him something before heading the two girl's way. Instinctively, Charlie pushed Katie behind her.

“Let me do the talking, ok?” Charlie looked back at Katie, who nodded, then looked back at the man who was coming towards them. The man made his was to where they were standing.

“How can I help you?” The man said. It looked to be like he was losing patience, but he was trying to be nice.

“By telling us where we are.” Charlie replied, confidence oozing out of her. The man raised his eyebrow, hands on his hips.

“You’re on Isla Nublar, Jurassic World, are you done wasting my time? I don’t need to deal with two girls who strayed away from the park.”

“Actually, our plane crashed about two hours away from here, and we’re trying to survive.” She gave a ‘try and come at me again’ smile. “Charlie.” She pushed out her hand.

“Owen.” He shook her hand.

“Katie.” The blonde said from behind her best friend, “I don’t want to shake your hand, I just wanted to feel included.” Charlie rolled her eyes.

“You’re something else, I don’t even know why I'm friends with you.” Charlie whispered under her breath, earning a slap from Katie. Owen chuckled. Screeches could be heard from inside the paddock. Making Charlie curious, she recognized the sound, it was her favourite dinosaur.

“Raptors?” Charlie questioned, Owen nodded.

“How’d you know that?” Katie said, before Owen could question her.

“Favourite dinosaur.” She shrugged it off.

“Let’s get you guys settled, come on.” Owen then walked away, looking behind him to see the two girls following him.
