Prem POV

I opened the door for my new patient.. once again he.. wearing all black.. now I got curious.. why is he always in black.. and what's the sad expression in his eyes.. cold aura around him.. I wonder.. why is he like this.. Piya.. she ran to me.. I pick her up in my arms.. I ticklish her.  She giggled.. I was so happy to see her face.. I can't pinpoint what's this feeling exactly I have for Piya.. some what I felt attached to her. I invited them in.. we were in living room.. I served water.. once they had.. I take Piya in my lap..

Prem: Princess.. shall we go to your Palace..??

Piya: Wow!! Yes!!

I took her to her room.. Boun following us..  we went upstairs.. once I opened the door.. Piya was excited..

I was in rush.. so I can't decorate enough .

Prem: Do you like this Piya??

Piya: Of course . You are the best.. uncle.. even my dad didn't surprise me like this .Thank you .

Prem: Pleasure is my princess . I am always in,, to serve you.. you better take rest.. I will call you once the lunch get ready..

Piya: Ok..

We left Piya in her room.. she was sliding in the slide in her bed.. I smiled at her.. closed the door.. I sense his eyes on me.. suddenly I got nervous.. I turned to see him.. his eyes showed again sadness..

Boun: Thank you..

Prem: It's my duty.. Then come with me I will show your room..we walked to the last of the hallway.. I opened the door..

Prem: I know.. this is small room..but..

Boun: It's ok.. this room is good and spacious.. I will manage.. can I ask you something..

Prem: Hmm.

Boun: Can I know where is your room.. in case of emergency.. so.. I ..

Prem:(sigh) I understand.  The room next to Piya..

Boun: Ok..then..

Prem: Can you tell about her.. her likes dislikes.. you know it will help her to be happy... If we do as her wishes..

Boun: She loves muffins.. she loves painting.. she is so introverted kid.. so she avoids to play with other kids.. she is too smart.. she knows three languages.. she loves piano.. guitar.. she loves bed time stories..

Prem: That's so sweet.. I will remind all this..

Boun: When will arrange the operation..?

Prem: We are going to take small steps.. like you know this operation is critical.. and very low percent of surviving.. so I decided to take it slower... If you have any thing important in Bangkok.. it's ok.. I will take care of her..

Boun:(chuckled) Nothing is important than my daughter.. as you said we can take small steps.. I trust you..

Prem: ok.. then.. you can take rest.. I will leave...

Boun: No I have to attend a conference meeting in the head office in here. So I am leaving with ohm for now...

Prem: Ok.. I will take care Piya..

Boun: Hmm. Any thing important or emergency call me..

Prem: AAA.. that's what I want to ask, your number..

I passed my phone to him.. he gave his number.. to my disappointment he didn't ask mine back.. we came down.. still ohm was in living room go through his phone.. he sensed our presence.. I got up..

Boun: Ohm.. let's leave..

Ohm: Of course..

Boun: take care of her..I count on you.

Prem: Don't worry..I will.. By the way here take this..

I hand over a spare key to him.. He smiled lightly.. walked to the exit. I closed the door.. I took day off.. I went to kitchen.. done lunch.. Piya and me had it together.. we played together.. we had fun.. it's evening we decided to bake muffins.. Piya said she will help me.. we both.. playing with flour, throwing one another.. the whole kitchen is mess.. we were laughing, running around.. when I about to throw the flour to Piya..she sat down.. I all splashed on Boun.. he just standing there the flour all over his face and in his black suit.. Piya was shocked and scared to see Boun.. I was too shocked.. I didn't expect him.. we both hang down our head with guilt.. sudden he voice out.

Boun: You two having fun with out me..!? Huh!

We both chin up.. he splashed the flour to us.. we both giggled and ran around with no... We were playing like this.. I slipped, because of the flour.. I closed my eyes.. I thought I will hit the floor.. I didn't get hurt.. I feel some thing soft in my lip.. very familiar smell.. I opened the eyes.. I was top on him.. more shocking was our lips were linked.. Piya was laughing loud..

Piya: Daddy kissed Uncle... !!

I get up in a second.. we were covered with flour.. He get up.. I chin up to see him.. he avoided my eye contact and looked away.. even after years.. he does this magic.. to me.. my stomach flinched.. with his slight touch of his lip.. I call the maid to clean this mess.. and asked her to prepare the dinner..  I help Piya to take bath.. dress her.. then I went to my room.. took shower. Get dressed.. when I went down.. Boun having Piya in his lap.. maid told me that dinner is ready.. we all had dinner.. still avoid my eye contact. Piya and me chit chat with one another.. After that we all had the muffins we made this evening.. Piya insist to tell me bed time stories.. I went to her room.. I told her stories.. Boun came in.. she grab him to bed, hold his hand when I continued the stories, she was making awe and ow with excitement.. soon she yawing.. but I turned my gaze to him.. he is already asleep.. still he is so cute in his sleeping face.. she too fell asleep.. they two look so adorable together.. I think I already move on..but NO.. I am fooling myself by saying that.. But we can't go back to the past.. so it's better I treat him as my patient's father.. he already having family.. so this is better..
