Chapter 11

"Is everyone ready to find out if it's a prince or a princess" Evie said excitedly "yes" everyone screamed "okay Mal and Ben time to pop the balloon in 3...2...1" Evie said and Mal and Ben popped the balloon and they where sprayed with purple confetti (Mal wanted the color to be purple if it was a girl) "it's a girl" Mal said smiling and hugged Ben "were gonna have our own little princes" he said and kissed Mal, "I can't wait to design her clothes" Evie squealed as she hugged Mal "I know right, she's going to look fabulous" Mal replied laughing "congrats guys" "yeah congrats, can't wait to meet our little niece" Carlos and Jay said smiling while walking up to Mal, Ben and Evie.
Then purple smoke surrounded them and they heard Maleficent cackle "I'm back" Maleficent said "leave us alone mother" Mal replied then Maleficent froze time except for herself and Mal just like she did on Ben's coronation "back from the dead I see" Maleficent said "surprised huh, believe me it's gonna take more then a fireball to take me down" Mal notices her moms eyes changing from the green that they've been the hole time to their normal collar "Mal" she said and hugged Mal "mom ?! What" Mal said as Maleficent noticed her bump "boy or a girl" she asked "a girl" Mal said while turning around to get some strawberries when Maleficent grabbed her arm "Mal what happened, how did you get this" she asked while looking at the scar "uhm, you gave it to me while blasting me with a fireball" Mal said and saw Maleficent eyes turn green again "I guess I have to do it again, but believe me this time you won't get that lucky" Maleficent said and turned into a dragon Mal hid behind a tree before her mom could see her "oh Mallie you really think you can hide" Maleficent said cackling, Mal felt it getting hotter as she saw green flames surrounding her "I've beaten you once mom and I could do it again" Mal said while she laid down on the ground to not breath in smoke Maleficent turned back human again and her eyes were normal again "Mal, Mal are you okay" she called out for her daughter as she put out the flames with her magic "I'm here mom, and yes I'm okay" Mal said as she stood up again, Mal slowly started walking to her mother still not being sure if it was a trick or not Maleficent saw her coming and ran towards Mal and hugged her "oh thank goodness, now let's take care of this mess" Maleficent said and started time for everyone again and made sure that none of the trees where burned, "what happened" Ben asked confused "nothing hon, it's okay" Mal replied and Ben hugged her "wow wow wow what is Maleficent doing here" Evie said and quickly hid behind Mal "don't worry E everything is-" Mal started but she couldn't finish because she passed out from all the smoke that the fire had caused (it's gone now but she just breathed in a lot of smoke during the fire) "Mal" Maleficent screamed and ran towards her and picked her up "what are you waiting for we need to get her to the hospital now" she nearly screamed at Ben and Evie who ran to get a limo while Jay and Carlos waited alongside Maleficent who still was carrying Mal once they where in the hospital Mal was taken to a different room and the rest had to wait twenty minutes later Mal woke up and the doctor walked to Maleficent, Ben, Evie and the rest of the gang "she's awake, and mostly okay, anyway she's asking for her mom so Maleficent come in please" the doctor said and Maleficent walked in the room "what's up pumpkin" she asked as she sat down on the chair next to Mal's hospital bed "well, mom what's going on with you one moment you're evil and trying to kill me and the next you're like a proper mom and actually caring for me" Mal said "I know, it's just like when I'm evil someone takes control of me and then after I hurt you they lose control and I get back to normal" Maleficent replied
