Westwood Institute for the Touched (A Roleplay)

Chapter Two

Thursday, April 4th, 2058.

For the most part, the life at Westwood has simmered down to an odd, semi-normalcy. Well, as normal as a building jam-packed with Touched who are ready to fight at the drop of a pen can be. The majority of Touched have adjusted to their new schedules and the building they now call home.

But today... something is off.

Dr. Brooke has taken an off day, and her only reason listed why is, "I have business to attend to. Please tell G that I'll talk to her at another time."

The normally cheery Dr. B has been on edge, entering rooms randomly and fixing little things, pacing the halls, and frequently talking to the Touched. He seems... both anxious and annoyed at the same time? Why?

And during lunch? The entirety of the staff have been called to the lunchroom. And- is that Nero, sat next to Axel? When- what-

Anyways, The staff have been told nothing, other than a simple warning from the Doctor: "Please, stay sharp and alert. I want to get this done and over with as fast as possible."

What on earth could he be talking about?

And who's heels were those, clicking on the floor in the hallways?

What was happening?
