Ushijima knew that this day would come. After all, no one can live forever. So here he is now, comforting his best friend's mother who is crying over the loss of her son.
Ushijima felt his heart break with every sob that escaped from the woman's lips.
"If only I had noticed it sooner," Ushijima thought as he felt tears falling from his eyes. He rarely cried and him crying now means that the death of Tendou took a toll on him.
Ushijima knew that he couldn't blame himself after all, no one knew that the cheery and energetic Tendou Satori was just a façade to hide a broken and miserable boy. Not even the person who he loved more than anything knew about this.
